Dak and Beasley were the only positive things about our offense last week.

I’m not saying Dak played well. Only an idiot would think that. Dak is who he is. He isn’t Romo. When I say he isn’t Romo, I mean he isn’t gonna force the issue and take high risks. When you are consistently in 3rd and long like Dak was last week, don’t expect him to pull plays out of his ass like Romo. Romos high risk/high reward plays saved us so many times, but it also buried us too.

A guy like Dak at this point in his career isn’t at the point where he’s ready to push the ball down the field and take risks. Especially when you don’t have a prime TO or Witten. 3rd and long isn’t good for any QB, especially a safe QB like Dak. I think there were only three drives last week where we didn’t have third and long. That’s pretty awful, yet the narrative coming out of that game seems to be that Dak was awful just because he missed a few throws. QBs miss throws every game. Brady overthrew a receiver for a TD last week. Dak seems to be the only QB that isn’t allowed to miss a pass without the fan base or media ripping him to shreds.

Was dak terrible? No,but he was not great either. He needs to play better and if he does not he can forget about a big payday.

The pattern I see is dak holds on to the ball too long. That worked in 2016,but this OL is missing frederick and not nearly as good.

While Ryan and Ridley are having no problem passing on Carolina. But we did not need Ridley, as Jerry would infamously said, a rookie WR cant help us in year 1.

I like the fact that even though Frederick has been parked for the year. He is always on the sidelines with the team. instead of sitting at home or tahiti or whatever rich people do with their freetime.

It would be huge if we get frederick back. He is such a good player. There were times where Looney got over matched and it killed drives. Looney was decent, but he should remain a backup IMO
