Florida is SEC's version of Texas. Georgia finally woke up and realized what they were and Florida got knocked down another peg.

Seems highly debatable. 2 National titles sure, but I would say since the 90s Florida isn't even the most successful SEC program.

Not matter what though, Florida WON'T be more Texas than Texas. Gators are in a tougher conference, have to battle their backyard recruits with other top programs like FSU/Miami, growing UCF and USF schools, and of course the poachers from Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Clemson, and all over the country.

Meanwhile, Texas doesn't have near the amount of in state competition Florida does, and are in a much weaker conference. For Godsake a conference where West Virgina is one of the top teams. West....Virginia.....Come again on how West Virginia is able to get recruits???? They are getting athletes to commit to West....Virginia...
