My Week 3 Predictions

I didn't look at the scores of the first 2 games for either team. Ohio State rushed over 90 times and passed under 70. They got a good passing game and a good running game, but it is clear that the offense is built around Dobbins and Weber. TCU has an excellent rush defense. Not only in the first 2 games, but they were 4th in allowed rushing yards/game last year.

I don't see this as a shoot out. TCU's D is probably the toughest D Ohio State will face all season. I guarantee it is light years better than Oregon State's and Rutgers'.

Can't really look at the attempts in blowout games. Ohio State was much more balanced before the games got out of hand

What kind of offense does Washington run? Utah is amazing vs the pass.

One of the national coverage guys down there in Utah was saying yesterday that UW had a type of offense this year that Utah struggles with, particularly in the run blocking scheme and how multiple UW is out of their base formations.

He said that, but Utah has been pretty solid on defense the last couple of years in this match up, so I don't know what makes him think this one is that much different.

I like UW's talent, particularly with the defense vs Utah's offense, but anything can happen in Pac12 after dark games.

That's true. That said, I still like Washington by at least 14.

The kind where the backup QB comes in late in the game and looks 10x's better than the starting QB or the kind of offense where the retarded OC calls for a QB option inside the red zone even though our QB is about as mobile as a slug.

You do get that Haener coming into a game already decided and nothing is on the line is entirely different than playing that solid in a real game when it counts right? I was encouraged to see him make some quality throws and some good decisions, but in no way shape or form will I mistake that for having him replace Browning unless he gets injured.

There is no doubt Browning has been handicapped by play calling, at least in game 1. Hamdan really needs to get his shit together fast. Outside of the ever present kicking game woes ( ) play calling and offensive game planning are the biggest concerns going into this game.

I'm not high on Browning myself. With that said Petersen had a chance to hire Beau Baldwin away from Cal and he should have done it imo or even try to hire Kellen Moore away from Dallas.

tOSU is not going to lose to TCU. Not a chance in hell. I understand it's essentially a home game for TCU, but I guarantee Jerry's world will be well represented by Buckeye fans. And TOSU has done well at that stadium indoors.

I thought with a new OC that he would make some progress this season ... then I saw the calls the new OC made in the red zone these first two games and I'm not surprised this season is going the way it is for Washington. I just hope the Huskies don't get their shit pushed in @ Utah this Saturday.
