These are the series we must sweep... Padres are the worst team in the National League... Keep hoping for a Astro's sweep of the A's but we gotta take care of business here in this series...

If we don't have a 2 game sweep with San Diego, we might as well hang it up for this season. There are only 2 teams in all the majors with a worse record. I think the 4 games with Oakland following the Padres will pretty much determine how this season closes out for the M's. Go Mariners and don't look back.

Doesn't say much for the M's when they depend on Oakland losing a couple from their lineup to maybe have a chance against them. Same old shtuff, just a different season is all.

Yep- We can't do shit against this team. Wouldn't be at all surprised if the Padres shut the M's out. Nothing but a friggin joke anymore. Oakland beats Houston 4-3 so it's looking like we get to slide down another game. At least Felix had a decent outing, of course it was against the Padres so Romine probably would have done about the same.
