The aviator looks nice. The Ranger is about worthless imo with the motor and bed they're offering.

Copy that.
They put something with more cylinders and more turbos along with more suspension travel, different story.

I am not one of those guys that thinks I need an F-250 Powerstroke just because everyone else does.

Bronco may not be on my list anymore.
Between this and the Ranger Raptor.
Powertrains may be the deciding factor.

I actually like that one. I like Lincoln products but I find they don't retain much value. Ford SUVs suffer the same faith.

Price used SUVs and you will find Ford and Lincoln are well below similar vehicles with same mileage and year model. They simply don't hold their value for some reason...

A few reasons the way I see it.
The Fords were a heavier which effects gas mileage.
The Fords also made due with the 5.4L at 310 hp way too long when a) the GM brands upgraded the 5.3 and added the 6.0L then 6.2L and b) Ford trucks upgraded to the 5.0 Coyote, 3.5TT and 6.2 Hurricane. They should have upgraded powertrains to F-150 specs soon after. 2015 was too long.
Brand loyalty as well.

Things going for the Fords?
Better ride and handling with IRS.
MUCH better third row seating space. Actual 8 full size people. Kids don't like to sit in the third row of a Tahoe.
Durability/reliability is a wash with the GM's, you really cannot buy a "BAD" vehicle anymore.

Wifey's favorite car ever was her Explorer. So, I'll probably get her one of these when the time comes. You have to wait for prices to drop on Lincolns in their 2nd year of production.

They have actually been doing things to separate them.
More power, luxury interior items, model specific body panels, etc.

The computerized suspension makes a huge difference. The MKT I had a long time ago was a completely different ride than the Ford Flex. It was probably the best riding car I'd ever driven.

I know there is no going back, but I can't be the only one who hates those tablet touchscreen things that look like they've been glued to the dash. I'm sure there is a legit reason for their positioning and whatnot, but it looks like shit...and I don't care if they're in a Mitsubishi or Mercedes.

I agree. The touch screen in my GL Mercedes sticking up just doesn't look quite right. If it tilted or had some reason to be sitting up there, that would be one thing....but it doesn't! (I don't think it does...actually not sure) For what it cost, the thing should blow me.

The Tesla’s look even worse since they’re much larger.
