I love Gentry, I would rather carry him over Treanor if we make the playoffs, his bat is weak but the guy has wheels and is great defensively

who would be the back up catcher? and what position would he play?

Napoli and Torrealba would play catcher and Gentry would be the late inning pinch runner and defensive replacement

which serves more purpose than Treanor's "Meh" defense and just bad offense, I mean he calls an ok game, but he doesn't do anything that Napoli and Torrealba don't

Treanor serves no purpose, he's not as good Napoli defensively or offensively, and he might be marginally better than Torrealba on defense, but certainly not offensively

If anyone gets injured then you just swap in Treanor at catcher for the next game
