Don't forget that 07 Cavs team belonged to Boobie Gibson

LeBron going to LA the way he did, and having no one follow is proof Heat was Wades team and Cleveland was Kyrie's team.

LeBron couldn't get any player of real value to come to Cleveland when he was there the first time, frustrated, he leaves Cleveland to join Wade and Bosh in Miami. Wade and Pat Riley set that roster up, moreso than LeBron.

LeBron feeling the need to go back home and finish unfinished business, he leaves Miami and joins Kyrie Irving, who he sees an up and coming all-star guard. LeBron didn't bring anyone of value with him, no one of real value left their current team or situation to join Cleveland. Kyrie was already there and they had to trade for Love to come and join Irving and James.

Kyrie leaves Cleveland, and even though the Warriors got better, no championships were won again in Cleveland, and with Kyrie gone, LeBron and Co. couldn't get anyone of significant all-star power to come to Cleveland.

So now he goes to Los Angeles, everything is set up for multiple all-stars to join LeBron in the city of LA and on one of the most storied franchises ever in the NBA. But after his quick signing what happens? Nothing. LeBron goes to LA. Cousins goes to GS, PG resigns with Thunder, looks like Leonard doesn't want to go to LA. And now you have LeBron and a bunch of young guys who were already there. Rumors of no one wanting to go to LA to join what you'd think could be a force. You'd think for any other all-star out there getting paid a bunch of money, joining forces with LeBron and trying to win titles in Los Angeles with the Lakers would be an ideal situation that anyone who wanted a solid legacy would chase.

Coach/GM/Player LeBron is a really really really great basketball player, dominant force that is the best most dominant player currently in the NBA. However, no one wants to play for him or with him. Just goes to show what was built in Miami was thanks to Wade and Riley, and LeBron's homecoming to Cleveland was there due to the mess he created there when he left.

Who cares - but just in case you didn't notice

Wade won a title with Shaq and another with LeBron - so the only reason he has those two titles was because he had two of the best players in the NBA of all time - Just saying

Interesting timing for this thread too.

ESPN has been reporting that Dame Lillard is interested in being traded to the Lakers.
Yeah - they claimed he said either New York or Lakers, but they were saying that he wants out if Portland can't become a contender - Portland finished in 3rd place this last year - that's about as good as it's going to be for anyone really for the most part. Leonard would be best choice, the Lillard wouldn't be a bad second option

One of the most explanatory novels I've read on the subject.

Makes sense from a neutral, unbiased, observer's perspective.
