do you actually think before you hit send ? stroman is a 7th round pick he does have some skills but fuller has actually done it on an NFL level . i think stroman will make the team but what role he has is up in the air

alexander has 4.63 speed aka slow . he is more of a safety then a cb

and lastly its a false choice you set up . keeping fuller in no way means we dont pick up either player

I believe what he is saying players have a lot more time to prepare for the combine 40 yard dash then he did at his somewhat pro day style workout which is true

coach did you read the article. IF he feels like working at it. He might be something and he might not but Fuller has a couple of years to prove he could play at the NFL level. To just blow him off is silly. Hopefully one or two of these guys do well.

Well, I would take Fuller over both. Fuller is a starter this season...best slot corner in football.

You are still misunderstanding. You are dense because you don’t understand having Fuller doesn’t doesnt preclude from taking Stroman or Alexander.

Why do you believe Stroman and Alexander, sixth and seventh round rookies, are good enough to best slot corner in football? Why were they drafted so late if they are that good?

Being stagnant is not good, even if you are the champ. Getting rid of a guy with two years left on his rookie deal and has proven to be at worst, very, very good is not stagnation but it is stupidity.

coach , i dont know where you got it in your mind that not being stagnant means letting a quality young cb go before he is even entered his prime

not being stagant means to a smart person that you get rid of older players coming out of their prime and replace them with younger talent . you dont replace the best rated slot cb age 24 with an injury prone 31 yr old like we did

if i remember correctly you bagged 7th round choice hosley . again i like the picks we made with stroman and alexander but those are late round selections and you dont COUNT on them being improvements . you hope they can , but realistically those guys are special teamers for no more then 3-4 yrs and then they are gone from the NFL

that is what STATISTICALLY happens at an almost 90% clip . what you hope is 1 to 2 guys from the 5th round on beat the odds and become productive backups or even a quality starter

now out of FM , dunny , hosley stroman and alexander we need to find 2 quality cbs who can start

i actually think alexander and nicholson could be our starting safeties in 2-3 years if they live up to the potential and if DJ plays better then we can afford in the future
