I'm smarter than the average bear. You are doing some great work lately.
They might. He would be a good fit for next year.
But the thinking seems to be that he is a trade asset.
Not sure how, the Nuggets had to pay a 2nd rounder to move him. Sounds like negative trade value.
He'll get the lookie-loos because he will be an expiring contract
Salary dump. Not sure how, the Nuggets had to pay a 2nd rounder to move him. Sounds like negative trade value.

Call me crazy but I think the Sixers ate better off getting Chandler than Leonard. They'd have to part with 2 nice players in Saric and Covington plus a draft pick most likely.
Chandler is no Leonard but they didn't need to land a star after the season they had.

Pretty sure the Spurs want younger players and draft picks. The Nuggets saved themselves $37 million in tax payments and salary by moving Chandler. Every team knew that that.
I have no idea if the Sixers are looking to move Chandler in a deal for Kawhi or not but if they are then they could offer Chandler back as part of a deal that also includes Patty Mills.
I think acquiring Chandler indicates they have moved on.....and I like Chandler for you guys. It's unclear to me whether the Sixers are looking at making a move for Kawhi at this point. They may be. They may not be.

True.To be clear it is possible that the Sixers are looking at making a trade for someone other than Kawhi as well.
