Sure, but I think the implication is that he will help them get Kawhi, and I don't think they're looking for expiring contracts right now. Their emphasis has been on multiple young pieces and draft picks.

Call me crazy but I think the Sixers ate better off getting Chandler than Leonard. They'd have to part with 2 nice players in Saric and Covington plus a draft pick most likely.

Chandler is no Leonard but they didn't need to land a star after the season they had.

The Nuggets saved themselves $37 million in tax payments and salary by moving Chandler. Every team knew that that.

I have no idea if the Sixers are looking to move Chandler in a deal for Kawhi or not but if they are then they could offer Chandler back as part of a deal that also includes Patty Mills.

Not sure why.....they have a pretty solid nucleus and gained important experience in the playoffs.

If I were them....I'd stay the course and do something next summer if next season didn't end as well as they hoped.
