That's what I thought too. It was reported yesterday that the Lakers and Pelicans both had contacted him.

No they couldn't. Houston could offer an extra year. OKC couldn't. Go back and look up the details. The way it was set up OKC was fucked. Teams were only allowed to have one max 5 year contract at that time. We agree on most but you're wrong on this. If I'm wrong and you can prove it I'll admit it. It's all good.

Saw somewhere that he could have signed with a bad team for 1yr/10.That's what I thought too. It was reported yesterday that the Lakers and Pelicans both had contacted him.
Where did you see he had a 8 figure offer?8 figures is more than both those guys.
He could've gotten 10 to 15 from several teams. The injury sucks but teams aren't going to just ignore it.
And he can do whatever he wants, honestly I don't blame him like others will. I'm just not buying the "I got no offers" thing.
The season already fails to meet your pre-qualifications. Cousins won’t play until probably January, and even then only at about 60% or so.If everyone stays healthy and they don't win 80 games then the season is a failure.
You are just guessing...I disagree, it discredits what he's claiming.
It was a hasty emotional response to people not throwing max deals at him on day 2.
Teams were negotiating with him, due to the injury, rather than giving him whatever he wants like most players of his caliber get.
That's just the nature of being a big man recovering from an Achilles. Teams are going to be cautious.
With the onliest problem being GS didn't want nor do they need him. So, there's that.
Well coming off of an achilles injury he didn't have much choice. I'm not sure how much you know about that type of injury but it's pretty big - I mean he couldn't even walk prior to it healing.Cousins is much much more spineless than Durant. At least Durant signed for what he was worth. Cousins took a 1 year joke for a cheap ring.
The only thing I'm pretty sure about is they are picky & choosy when it comes to adding talent. They make sure the pieces will fit. I'm also pretty sure LBJ doesn't fit here.I'm 1000% sure if LBJ called the Warriors on Saturday night and said he would sign for the MLE. He would have been a Warrior by now.
As we just saw by the Warriors signing Cousins, they want every great player they can get
Losing Ariza to Phoenix was HUGE. He was a piece of their core group...that had to sting. And to make matters worse they still haven't gotten an agreement done with Capela...AND they gave Chris Paul all that freakin money for FOUR YEARS.I feel bad for the Rockets. They were thinking they were almost there and now this happens.
