Hey man fuck you! I mean how are you today?
As someone who has been to plenty of UW / Oregon games at home and down there through the years....and witnessed plenty of altercations in and outside the stadiums.
Don’t the even get me started on the topic of UW vs Duck fan bases when it come to behavior, especially at Autzen. The cultures of these schools couldn’t be more different when it comes to location, tradition, and academic factors. And thus how it translates to what behavior you get from the majority of students and alumni involving the sports programs and games. I’m not saying everyone. But I’m still talking about the majority fanbases and that’s where the rubber hits the road.
It’s not even remotely close, especially after Uncle Phil and his corporation basically took control of that “school” and the Chip Kelly years which were probably the worse I’ve ever seen their assholery towards not just UW, but all visiting fanbases.
I could go on for pages on this subject, but it’s always leads to the same programmed set of lies and victimhood from their fanbase as responses. Queue the failed attempts at moral relativism and whataboutism.
While there is a small core of decent Duck fans out there that I take no issues with and there is a few decent ones on the hoop here that I won’t disparage.... That rep things in a laid back classy way.... I’d call them a silent minority that attempts to promote a positive attitude with its fanbase, it unfortunately gets buried under a mountain of Nike sleaze and alcoholic/drugged up assholery.
While their recent struggles has actually benefited their fanbase as it jettisoned a lot of the bandwagon aholes and humbled some of the loudmouths, I’m not gonna bet that the assholery and sociopathic behavior to visiting fans at games will not come back once they taste some major success again. Nike has too much invested to let the program go back to mediocre.
No one questions there are asshats in every single fan base and there are likely individual bad stories from every stadium in the country. Some of the ones I've read about from Colorado fans toward Nebraska fans back in the day were pretty unreal. It's incumbent on us to "hate" each other.
In all fairness, the games I have been to have crappy fans on both sides. It's a heated rivalry and a lot of fun.
The two Arizona schools joined the PAC in 1978.fun fact:

is he planning on playing both?USC just got a commit from a kid who is a 4 star in both football and basketball.
Rare two-sport 4-star prospect Drake London commits to USC
is he planning on playing both?
yeah i knew that. scholarship always defers to whats considered the more prominent sport or something. Jordan Kent went to oregon on a track scholarship which got moved to basketball when he joined his dads team and then to football when he did that also.Yes. Apparently he's good enough in basketball that it currently makes USC the #1 recruiting class in basketball for 2019 when added to 5 star Onyeka Okongwu and 4 star Isaiah Mobley.
It's possible that he concentrates on only 1 sport later, but right now the plan is that he will play both.
His schollie will count against the football scholarships for whatever that's worth.
