They just skipped the Bengals Browns completely. Not one f'n mention. It showed it next up, and come back from commercial break, and boom..they went straight to the next bubble.

Just bitch slapped the entire state of Ohio. F these assholes.

Spot on, Almost all the highlight shows skipped the game today. The TV shows and every analyst all cut Cincy down before the season started so there gonna do everything possible to hide. I hate it and kinda like it at the same time.

The only play worth looking at from the game was the broken play gift TD. It was a boring game.

Right on cue....Sportscenter just showed a 4 second clip of the game at 5:59 am. It was the broken play TD.

I wouldn't want to show the highlights either. It was an embarrassment. Embarrassment for the Browns because they came out and played like a JV team minus 8 minutes in the 2nd quarter. Embarrassment for the Bengals because they still barely - and luckily might I add - pulled off the victory despite playing said JV team.

We've seen this before, even when the Bengals were decent. They have to prioritize the games I guess.

It wasn't exactly a highlight reel festival.....most of the games we can win this year will follow some form of this script.....boring.....:bored:

1. Broken play TD, AJ Green's first catch and TD.

2. Dalton and his first NFL TD.

3. Benson and a 39 yard run for a TD.

All three of those were worthy plays to be shown.

I don't give a flying crap what any of you pessimists say. A win is a win. No matter how we win, you guys will find a way to downgrade it.

IT was a rookie QB in his first NFL game, a rookie WR, a rookie OC on the road against a division rival. Palmer and our defense has had trouble with Cleveland back in the day and this is when we weren't supposed to be "as terrible" and Cleveland was supposed to be "worse".

Bye bye Kramer: :minion:

But in the grand scheme of the NFL, this game means little. It's highly unlikely that either team will be in the playoffs, or even in the race for the playoffs. The Benson TD didnt need shown. We were already ahead and it wasn't really that exciting since nobody even touched him. I'll give you the 1st Dalton TD.

How many other players this weekend had 35+ yard runs for TD's that didn't get shown in the highlights?

Didn't Carson put up 350 or so yards against the same defense last year...in 1 game?

Nothing in that game was worth showing. Especially that pathetic excuse for an offense.

And for the record, that Green TD was an embarrassment. The NFL should delete that from any and all film.

1. Caught the Browns napping. Nothing exciting about the play if you are not a Bengals fan.

2. A two yard pass. Woo hoo

3. Another play that caught the Browns napping. Hey I was cheering too, but if that's the best you can offer, it was a boring game... That's ok, since as I said earlier, that's how this team must win....

Geez, some of you guys really are miserable pricks. It was a good win on the road v. a divison team. They hung in and played well. No, they're not going to the playoffs but at least this team didnt fold, botch a punt or figure out a way to lose like previous Bengal teams. They're young. It's clearly a rebuilding year. I give a young team credit for winning on the road with a back up QB.

Well, I agree, it was a nice win, in Cleveland, and the D played well. Dalton played better than average. I give them credit for coming back. That doesn't make an easy TD that nobody was within 25 yards of the receiver, or a TD run where he could have been in a wheelchair and still scored were highlight reel plays.

I think the browns were hung over from prematurely celebrating their win.

The play wound up not meaning anything. It didn't matter.

There was nearly a minute and half left in the game and it was 3rd and 4. Cleveland had one timeout remaining. If they stop us there, they call their timeout, we punt and they have a chance to drive 40-60 yards in a minute plus to try and get a game tying FG, or have a miracle play like Denver did against us two opening days ago.

That run meant the difference between coasting to the win, and biting nails in the last minute plus of the game.

It was an upset.... Browns were supposed to win by 7, and many of us feared much worse, that dalton would throw multiple interceptions (he didn't), that benson would totally suck (he didn't totally), that Green would be a fluke (He showed promise), that our defense would implode (they didn't)

I'll take what I can get, at least we can beat the browns, hopefully we will sweep them.

I was simply addressing the op's claim that we were bitch slapped by ESPN...as a Bengals fan I loved the game, I just didn't see anything exciting about it highlight wise if you're not a Bengals fan......:ss:
