I actually agree.
This is the only reason he will never surpass MJ in my book. He might equal him.
LeBron probably is a better basketball player, but MJ is a better competitor.
And it's not even close.

Hmmm...
What was said?
Is he really playing the broken hand card?
Dude, the confetti was still falling and Lebron had Windhorst come out and provide breaking news saying that Lebron was playing with a major hand injury since after game 1 because he punched blackboard. You can't make this up.
All the Cleveland beat writers knew about the hand since it happened. Windhorst knew, McMenamin knew, Vardon knew. (TBH, I'm pretty sure the Warriors knew too. They starting hedging him to the right hard starting in Game 2 and I mean if you've seen the pictures of his hand, it had to be noticeable in person).
Reporters were asked to keep it under wraps until after the series, so they were all quick to break the news before LeBron even hit the showers.
Why would LeBron feed a story where he is an idiot and breaks his own hand? He knew the story would be out there, fessed up to not handling his emotions better.
But keep going wth the excuse story even though it makes no sense.

So he didnt go to the podium and take questions?
No need to get butt hurt about it.
Timing of the news getting released is bad no matter how you put it. In the end, it's a moot point because it's Lebron's own doing. From public perception it comes off as an excuse as to why they got swept.
He did. He just described it as a self-inflicted wound and didn't go into too much detail.
Butt hurt? Lol, ok.No need to get butt hurt about it.

They got swept because Golden State is a much better team, even if LeBron was fully healthy, he did what he does, make them competitive but with this team not a winner.

I agree with the perception, and LeBron didn't help things by wearing a cast to the postgame. But I'm guessing he cared more about his hand then perception at that point.
Reporters had the story. You can get them to hold off while the series is going on, but you're not going to stop a story about LeBron punching a blackboard and hurting himself.
If LeBron did somehow keep it under wraps, the same people criticizing him for using it as an excuse would be criticizing him for burying a story that makes him look bad.
He punched a whiteboard after game 1, should of punched JR Smith, JR needs to grow the fuck up
Oh yes he would have. Weren't they up Huge on Golden State a few years ago? They would have won 1-2 the past few years. Unless you think the Warriors would have continued to dominate with that 2015 crew. Which they wouldn't have
