I think the Cavs would have beat any team in the EC if they had squared off.....James was an absolute fucking beast.

Yeah, I mean they beat the 1 seed and the 2 seed, but somehow they're lucky for avoiding the 3 seed?

Lebron was an absolute beast no doubt.

However, the Cavs were taken to 7 games by the Pacers.

If the Raptors had even one players whose balls have dropped, they would likely have taken the Cavs to at least 6 games.

Then, a Celtics team missing it's 2 best players, used Al Horford and a bunch of kids to take the Cavs to 7 games.

To accomplish that, it took what has been arguably the best playoffs he's ever played.

If the Pacers had more experience or the Celtics had Kyrie and Hayward, I doubt the Cavs get out of the East. Even with how Lebron played.

But the greats don't get punished for losing toother greats.

Magic and Bird both lost to each other multiple times. LeBron has a losing Finals record because he keeps running into the ultimate super team and this is now the 3rd time he has dragged a cast of nobodies to the Finals.

Nobody else. Not Jordan, Not Magic, not Kareem. Say what you want about the East being weak. Nobody else is dragging this group to the Finals. The Cavalier supporting cast is not good.

I get that kyries absence from this series was a huge deal. I will never argue otherwise.

But the Celtics have proven they are a much better team than anyone gave them credit for. People will look back on this roster so differently, similar to the 2012 Thunder.

I don't think they were lucky to not have faced the Sixers but I also think the Sixers would have given the Cavs a lot of problems.

The Sixers were outcoached in that series.
