He was projected to start this year. I'm guessing family issues.
Negative.

Per Jude at the Times...
Eifler, at 6-feet-1 and 225 pounds, tantalized with his raw athleticism and impressive physique. He appeared in all 13 games for UW as a redshirt freshman in 2017, mostly playing on special teams, posting six tackles.

Eifler played for UW legend Napoleon Kaufman at Bishop O’Dowd High in Oakland, and was recruited to UW as an outside linebacker.

But he never quite lived up to his recruiting profile, and there was no clear path for him to vault into the two-deep in 2018, either. He was the third-string strongside linebacker for most of the spring, behind sophomores Amandre Williams and Myles Rice.

So he's bailing to find playing time. And I really don't have any issues with it. UW is stacked at LB and he wasn't finding field time.

Oakland? so maybe San Jose or Fresno?

Well his quote was that he was 'reopening up his recruiting' which I find odd just as language from an upperclassmen. Sounded to me like he doesn't already have a school in mind and will look for the best situation that leads to a starting position that he can find.

Pac-12 football schedule rotation for cross-division games in 2019-26

You asked for it … well, a few of you did, at least … so here it is: The rotation for all 12 teams through the 2026 season.

As some might know, the rotation works in two-year increments, allowing for home/away dates with each opponent before moving on:

* The first eight-year cycle was established prior to the 2011 season.

* The upcoming cycle, which begins in 2019, was approved by the athletic directors a few years ago.

Keep in mind that the California schools play each other every year, limiting the frequency of dates with the non-California teams outside the division.

Note that I have not included division games in the list below. Those will continue in 2019+ with the current home-road rotation.

Instead, you’ll find the cross-division opponents listed in what seemed like a digestible fashion, with the two-year cycle, the opponents and the home/road split.

Let’s take Arizona as an example. The first line reads as follows:

2019-20: Oregon State (home/away), Washington (home/away), Stanford (away/home), Oregon (away/home)

The Wildcats play OSU at home in ’19 and on the road in ’20; same with Washington. Meanwhile, the Wildcats face Stanford on the road in ’19 and at home in ’20; same with Oregon.

The Arizona and Mountain schools play each of the Oregon and Washington schools six times in the eight-year cycle.

The non-California schools play each cross-division California school four times in the cycle.

Questions? You know where to find me.

Also …

1) For a look at each team’s non-conference schedule for the next five seasons, go here.

2) Kickoff times for early-season games in 2018 are tentatively scheduled to be announced the last week of May.

Don't transfers who aren't QB's usually transfer to a FCS school so they don't sit out a year

I'm not sure this kid has thought it out that far, but yeah. I guess it depends on how much of a chance he feels he would get at making the NFL with exposure at that level or if it's worth waiting on a bigger program.

I mean he only managed to make 3rd string here so I'd probably expect him to go to a lower school?
