UW soph LB Camilo Eifler to transfer
He was projected to start this year. I'm guessing family issues.UW soph LB Camilo Eifler to transfer
Negative. He was projected to start this year. I'm guessing family issues.
Eifler, at 6-feet-1 and 225 pounds, tantalized with his raw athleticism and impressive physique. He appeared in all 13 games for UW as a redshirt freshman in 2017, mostly playing on special teams, posting six tackles.
Eifler played for UW legend Napoleon Kaufman at Bishop O’Dowd High in Oakland, and was recruited to UW as an outside linebacker.
But he never quite lived up to his recruiting profile, and there was no clear path for him to vault into the two-deep in 2018, either. He was the third-string strongside linebacker for most of the spring, behind sophomores Amandre Williams and Myles Rice.
Oakland? so maybe San Jose or Fresno?Negative.
Per Jude at the Times...
So he's bailing to find playing time. And I really don't have any issues with it. UW is stacked at LB and he wasn't finding field time.
Well his quote was that he was 'reopening up his recruiting' which I find odd just as language from an upperclassmen. Sounded to me like he doesn't already have a school in mind and will look for the best situation that leads to a starting position that he can find.Oakland? so maybe San Jose or Fresno?

I'm not sure this kid has thought it out that far, but yeah. I guess it depends on how much of a chance he feels he would get at making the NFL with exposure at that level or if it's worth waiting on a bigger program.Don't transfers who aren't QB's usually transfer to a FCS school so they don't sit out a year

I mean he only managed to make 3rd string here so I'd probably expect him to go to a lower school?
sure it will, the other bastard we had up and quit last october for being a loser…kids don't like losers.
i'll give HC JS 3 years to win at least 7 games a year, after that were sending him back to you…but the 5 million UWUB gave us to take OC JS stays with us.
carryon.
