LeBron only plays for titles, so end of the day, if he doesnt get 16 playoff wins, his season is a failure.

Does that take away how great he played leading up to losing in the Finals?

I don’t think so.
totally....if they get to game 7 of the Finals its the same EXACT THING as watching my team get their ass handed to them by the Sixers- a team that is so superiorly talented than the Heat-- the Sixers that is--- and then goes down 3-0 to Boston. Shows you just how far the Heat are away from winning anything substantial--- a capped out mess with hardly any trade assets and a GM thats lost his fastball. lol.

AT THE END OF THE DAY- its just the same thing as watching the Cavs pull off games like this...the same thing. lol.

hey whatever you have to do to make yourself feel better princess. GREAT BET by the way. lol

There won't be many close games to hit buzzer beaters in the finals. . The game was tied anyways. Less pressure in tied games situations. Even if you miss, you still go into OT.
how many chances did the Raptors have with a tied game in game 1? its just the difference between having the greatest player of all time (or 1B to Jordans 1A) and having a collection of soft choke artists that shit all over themselves when it matters.

LeBron hits those shots--- your Raptors shit all over themselves in FEAR of LeBron. Thats the difference in this series.

LeBron has supreme confidence and gets the job done....Your Raptors are literally SCARED and poop themsleves when it matters. Thats why you never had a shot and will NEVER EVER FUCKING have a shot as long as you run into THE KING.

Another beauty by bronbron

Cavs rolling now, I knew Indiana would be a tougher matchup than Toronto

View attachment 178797
everyone with a brain did.

Indiana was a tough matchup and would have beat quite a few teams in the playoffs....Indiana was playing great ball, had great chemistry, made some great adjustments etc.....any other year they win a playoff series to cap off a great year....they were unlucky and ran into the King.

the Raptors just dont match up well with the Cavs in the first place, and are literally afraid of LeBron. The PAcers were not afraid of LeBron. Makes a huge difference.

Its Bostons next year IF Lebron is not on the sixers. DoRo, you need to see greatness and enjoy it. LBJ is greatness
I could see Kawhi being traded to the Sixers and the Celtics being equally screwed.

Covington, Fultz, some picks should get it done fairly easily.

Hes greatness until he sees a great team on the biggest stage. Then he Fails more times. than not.

Tuneup East rounds mean nothing if you can't see the deal

If he wins the title this year, he will finally earn my respect.
lol....why do you embarass yourself over and over? The guy beat a 73 win coming back from down 3-1 to pull off the greatest comeback in the history of the league.

And the funny thing is- you predicted the Raptors to win the series just over a week ago--- and then a week later they are nothing more than a "tuneup"...lol...get the story straight.

just embrace it. LET THE HATE FLOW THROUGH YOU. lol

No one remembers 2nd place. IT all about holding the trophy in June and NO TEAM from the East is gonna even come close to doing that this year.

O
if thats truly the case then why even ever watch 1 game in the history of the entire Raptors franchise?

anyway...about the game...I thought Lowry played great. He really showed up. DeRozan of course gets benched and just does not look good. So strange how he just no shows like that in the playoffs. Anonby was solid at times---- Ibaka actually made a few plays for the first time in teh series.

That "bench" advantage the Raptors had is just being mitigated by the Cavs....Poeltl didnt play- and Valunciunas played 20 minutes. There seven footers were on the floor a COMBINED 20 minutes. It just shows where the game is going and that the playoffs are about matchups.

Kevin Love is just SO important to the Cavs because of the mis matches he creates. If he is rolling you cant play a normal center on him or he wil llight you up from 3 or run around picks and cut and lose an opposing center very fast.

21 and 16 for Love tonight. of course the 31 and 11 the other night--- for the series- even with a bad 1st game-- about 20 and 13 a night.

a LOT of teams would kill to have a 5 time all star PF- having made the last 2 all star teams and gives you about 18 and 10 and 2 a night. ESPECIALLY when he spread the floor like he does and does it while shooting about 38% from 3

What can you say about LeBron then that he is just the best. At 33 he still without a doubt the best player in the league.

NO ONE IN THE HISTORY OF THE NBA has been so good for so long. this is probably his 11th straight year as the NBA's best player. No player has ever done that before or will likely ever do that again. the Game winner was unreal.

Kyle Korver is a great shooter but there are so many things this guy does well. Hes old, and hes white and not a great athlete so no one will ever give him credit for his defense but he is always in the right position, tries hard and makes some plays here and there whether its taking a charge or running a guy into a dbl team or just staying connected to a shooter.

Jeff Green has simply been one of the best vet. min. pickups I can remember. I cant remember anyone in Cleveland or in Miami with LeBron that has been this productive as a min. guy

I definitely hope the Cavs sweep and get some time to rest----- but I cant help thinking that the reason tehy are playing so well now is the adversity and toughness and physical play of the Pacers series.

I will say one thing about the Cavs- they face adversity very well- whether its trade rumors, or huge trades, or injuries or coaching changes or playoff deficits--- all of these guys handle their business.

Jr Smth was off shooting tonight- so you see Love and Korver and Green and Hill step up.

The Raptors decided to go small and had their seven footers on the court for a total of 20 minutes---- so no Nance and little Thompson- but guys like Hill and Green show up--- i even thought Clarkson showed he is getting his playoff legs under him a little bit.

But it all just begins and ends with LeBron. Unbelievable. Has there ever been an athlete that has been as great as LeBron has as long as LeBron, who basically never gets hurt, whos teammates love playing with him etc.? He is just unbelievable.

Its fun watching all time greats like that. Someday LeBron will be retired and it will be sad and the NBA wont be as fun.

I get what he's saying. He's wrong but I understand. Lebron will lose this season but what he's doing is amazing. Love has been pretty good but what Lebron is doing should go down as one of the great playoff runs in NBA history.

I understand too.

But that is also case and point why it is so stupid to use team accomplishments to define individual greatness.

Durant is the second best player in the NBA. Curry is top 5. Klay and Dray are both easily better than Love. Yet, somehow this genius thinks it makes LeBron look bad of his group of misfits can't beat them?

That is a ridiculous position to take. A couple years ago, there were a few on here who used Finals record as a way to knock LeBron down a peg or two in all time great rankings. It is just so obvious to anybody with an ounce of sense that it isn't a valid way to measure him vs. other all time greats. What he is doing now is completely unprecedented.

No,

He is great there too.

But, see, basketball is a team sport. The better team almost always wins a 7 game series. LeBron's teams have often been the underdog in these series, and that isn't his fault. He did his part in all but the Mavs Finals which he deservedly got a lot of crap for.

Are you drunk, stupid or combination of both?
You are talking from a fans perspective.
My post isn't/wasn't trying to think for you or any other fan.
I'm talking James' mindset, and I'm correct.
He certainly doesn't need money.
So why does he still play the game?
Why does he he put in all that work to be able to play the game at the highest level?
The answer is exactly what I said.
He plays for RINGS.
If he doesn't get 16 wins HIS season is a failure.
If it was about all the other things the wrote in your 3 replies, then he wouldn't have ever switched teams, let alone twice, and now very possibly a 3rd time.

As far as the bet.
I'm going to lose, but it was a great bet.
Anytime you get 2-1 at even money, you take it.

I'm pretty sure I already told you I don't give a fuck what you choose.
I would never pu55y out like you and refuse to post the winners choice because it was too mean spirited, or whatever words you used.

If both the Celts and Cavs sweep or win in 5, would they wait a bit to start the ECF?
Finals dates are set in stone.
I imagine they wouldn't want a huge gap from the end of ECF to start of the Finals.

the fact you would let your PERSONAL bias against a guy that could pull the Lakers out of the worst era in their history- a guy that is EASILY one of the most dominant players in the HISTORY of the league- shows how much of a loser you are.

lol, so my not wanting this arrogant barf bag somehow has a bearing on my life? lmfao...:pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound::pound:
