Russ is a damn good baller no doubt, but he was total chump in this series.

Better team won obviously.
Donovan might be hitting the unemployment line soon..and he should..dude is overrated as an NBA coach.
Donovan is a good college coach, end of story.

Yea I've been thought they need a better coach.

Look at it another way...

Westbrook made about 45 % of his shots while George made about 20 % of his and it looks hella different.
Yep!!!

I've looked at it, and 42 shots in one game from one player is boarder line obsessive lol

Trust me...that dude was more boring than Jeff Hornasuck (and that's not an easy thing to do ...LMAO)
Donovan had more pieces to do so much more damage but somehow his team underperformed and fell way short, especially with their HCA.

Fuck OKC. They're frauds.

I'm glad Utah won, but how wasn't George shooting 3 FT's to potentially tie it up?
If that jersey said Whiteside vs Gobert, the call is totally different.

PG has to do something. HE HAS TO

I love to troll this guy when he is ballhogging.

But, Westbrook has played his heart out the last 2 games.

George is already in LA mentally.

George had 16 shots.... missed 14 of them

Its rediculous that Westbrook has to score 50 points every night for his team to win. I like Paul George but I'm sorry he can move on. Theres a reason Indy got a lot better this year after he left. Westbrook and Adams are the only stars on this team and I really like Abrenis. Keep those guys and blow everything else up and build around them.

As for the Jazz good luck against Houston, you're going to need it.

Pfft. Rookie.

This right here.

That's good too but it's more about the act itself.

You play that song for the special lady of your life and when a woman hears the lyrics of mine she'll be butter in your arms.

Examples:

My everything
I only imagine you in every way
I only think of you, all night and all day
I only want you when I'm awake and when I'm sleep
You don't mean a thing cause you mean everything to me, oh ho

I'm your shelter in the rain (yeah)
I take away the pain
Never have to hurt again (oh-ho, oh)
Want to be your love supreme
Without you I'm not complete (no)
Your my everything (and I just want you to know)

I never die for you
I rather live to love you
You could take my arm
I'll still find ways to touch you
You could take my leg
I still run to your rescue
I love you, I really do

I respect the hell out Russ' energy and effort.

But, he is the point guard and took as many shots as the rest of his teammates combined. I get that George and Melo were way off. But if Russ were actually a decent facilitator he would have created some easy chances to get those 2 going. Instead he shot 45 times. He needs to start learning from past mistakes.

I don't care who else is on the roster. OKC will never go far with Russ playing like that. Never.

Keep in mind, this game was played with Rubio on the sidelines. Rubio has been every bit as important to utah as Mitchell and Gobert in this series. At least prior to this game.

Foul should have been called on Gobert.

But OKC did not deserve to win that game or the series. They took so many bad shots. Basketball karma has its way of catching up.

I'm starting to wonder if Paul George is fool's gold. He seems to consistently come up small in big moments.

PG and CA combined for 12 pts, on 5 of 23 shooting. Jermi Grant scored 9 points, Adams scored 19. And thats it.

Well again. When Westbrook is dribbling up the court and chucking up ill-advised 3's, it's really hard for anyone to get anything going or really in this case have an opportunity to contribute offensively.

I think he was just gassed bro. The only other player capable of scoring was PG, and they kept throwing the ball back to RW. Mamba Mentality!

Of course he was. But who's fault was it that Russ kept shooting 3's from the perimeter? Maybe get the offense going? Grant's not a scrub either. This falls on coaching as well, not just Westbrook. Russ just takes the lion share of the blame because in the 4th he shot his team out of winning the game. As tlance said, the PG non-call was atrocious, but it's basketball karma that they lost.

Russ played exactly how we all thought he would. As for PG, LA bound??

I can't imagine him staying in OKC. The grass wasn't greener on the other side when he left Indiana. Not saying Indiana was the best place for him. But, as much as he probably didn't like it there, it doesn't mean that every potential better winning situation is better. But given that George is an LA native and the Lakers have cap space to sign him, I'd have to imagine he's a Laker next year.
