What a drama queen. AA is 5'9 and 200 with < 8 inch hands. Kerryon is 6'0 and almost 215 with 9+ inch hands. Not to mention he has never fumbled. NEVER.

Kerryon’s “large hands” had better be worth a 2nd and 4th round pick.

Not only that, but I figger if you pound anything for 45 minutes with a Blount Johnson, it's gonna wilt.

Are you happy with tonight?

I would not say happy. We gave up a bit too much for Kerryon and I think the SS was a luxury pick. Lots of overreaction here tonight though.

I was dead on dead on with Kareem Hunt last year. Trust me on this one. Granted I did not want to give up what we gave up for him. I am hoping we trade tiny hands and get a 4th somehow. There are 2 edge guys still on my list out there and 3 DTs.

Dynasty Prospect Profile: Kerryon Johnson | Draft Sharks

Johnson’s high school career wasn’t all glory, though. Here’s a rundown of his injury history before even arriving at Auburn…

-2012: Torn right labrum in his shoulder (surgery took place in January of ’13)

-2013: Dislocated right shoulder

-2013: Dislocated left shoulder (twice)

-2013: Ankle sprain

-2013: Broken hand (sustained playing basketball and required surgery)

Johnson’s medicals remained an issue in college …

-2016: Shoulder surgery (January)

-2016: Right ankle sprain (October, 1 game missed)

-2017: Right ankle sprain (April)

-2017: Hamstring (September, 2 games missed)

-2017: Shoulder (November)

-2017: Ribs (November)

An optimist would point out that Johnson’s last surgery was over 2 years ago.

Plus, 2017 shoulder and rib injuries were a matter of pain tolerance. Johnson showed toughness by playing through them.

So, across 574 touches as an SEC back, he missed just 3 games.

I know you loved Kareem last year. So did I. Kareem Hunt broke tackles and made huge plays with amazing balance. We need a guy who can create yards after contact (assuming our run blocking still sucks next season). Kerryon is not that type of tough runner IMO.

fast forward to 1:32:12 and see the normal nfl hit he receives from 2018 Draft prospect SS Ronnie Harrison

then fast forward to 2:08:34 when he gets the hand-off and takes himself to the ground before being hit. all because of these shoulder injuries/dislocations. and it wasn't the left shoulder which was injured earlier, it's his right shoulder this time.

Well, so far, our D line still can't stop the run or get to the QB. But nice draft, BQ.

He ran behind a mediocre line at Auburn too and lit up some of the best defenses in CFB and Auburn had no passing game so everyone knew he was getting the ball. Imagine what he might do when teams have to defend Stafford first.

He scored a TD on the play after that hit. His 17th. Auburn only got over 30 carries from him that game. Our RBs barely got that all year total.

wrong. Auburn had a much better OLine than Bama but not as good as Georgia's and Auburn QB Stidham was a helluva lot better in his last 8-9 games before the SEC CG than Bama's Hurts was all year long. Johnson ran behind Auburn RG Braden Smith quite often but he also loves to cut it outside all too often. Auburn C Gohlson was no slouch either.

Any of those OL drafted yet?

he's injury prone. watch that tape at the 2 hour 8 minute mark and tell me you love that pick. all rb's get injured but that isn't a good sign for the future.

I'll give him credit for hanging tough after the Harrison hit but late 4th quarter run taking himself to the ground is highly questionable and HE SUCKED BALLS in the SEC CG
