Would Nebraska be preseason top 10 if they were still in Big 12?

Highly doubtful. They would be the 4th or 5th best team this year in the Big 12. Shows how weak the Big 10 is if they are picked to win that conference.

Sure they would. The Legends division in the B10 is MUCH better than the B12 North and Nebraskas 3 crossovers this year are against top 25 team in Wisky, OSU and PSU. Unless Nebraska would have been playing Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A@M as crossovers then their schedule will be harder this year than it was last year.

I believe NU would have played at Texas, got A&M at home, would have had to play either TTECH or OU as well. That's 3 losses right there, could be 4 b/c NU would have to play MIZZOU in Columbia, too.

No. We would be playing Okie STate at home. We played in Stillwater last year and beat them. Nebraska would not have lost 3 or 4 games last year with the schedule we would have had.

You're right. NU would have gone to Stillwater. Probably 2 conference losses at best and then a loss in the CCG as usual. I don't believe the hype about Okie jr until they can play some defense.

I'm not really sure why who Nebraska plays affects how they should be ranked. You judge a team based on how good they are, not who they are scheduled to play against. Strength of schedule only helps at the end of the season, not the beginning.

Not any different than at Wisconsin ( better than Texas), OSU at home ( nod to A@M) od at PSU ( PSU is light years better than TTU). Now compare Iowa, Michigan State, NW, Michigan to Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri
