Washington played well enough to get me to watch this year but really just pissed me off most of the time. Not sure whats worse...Being almost good enough to make it and getting excited like a dork or enjoying the game and not expecting shit:noidea:
Easy question to answer for me, but your mileage might vary.

There's a reason Hop won Pac12 COTY. Jumping from just 2 conf wins last year with mostly the same kids MINUS their best player from that year is a massive gain. What are his teams going to look like when he gets kids in that actually fit his style? I'm not a big fan of the zone defense, but boy is it refreshing to at least see a UW team playing ANY kind of defense regularly! I was so fed up with Romar's lack of discipline on defense that I simply could no longer watch the product. At all. His teams could score, but were lazy as fuck on the other side. Hop has some defense rolling now, but nothing close to the scoring Romar's had through their best years.

Doesn't UW bring back (or at least expected to) every key player next year? Add a second year and whatever he brings in with youth and expect more depth in the defensive install and hopefully more stability in scoring and see what improvements happen.

There wasn't a person on earth that expected him to come in and reach an elite 8 in his first season and pretty much no one that even expected them to be a real threat to go to the tournament to begin with. So all of this is a bonus.

They had signature wins against Kansas on the road and the best team in the conference hands down. They also had a few exciting come from behind victories and stretches of brilliance. None of that happened under Romar the last 5 or 6 full seasons.

Sure it's somewhat disappointing to get this close and come up short, but boy was there something worth watching and a whole lot of hope for the future and that's more than enough for a first year HC with zero prior experience running his own program.

So for sure they are again worth watching and following for me no matter what the results are this week and I'll be watching their recruiting and off season news again for the first time in close to a decade.

The darkest days appear to be behind us. Come along for the ride.

ASU Play in game vs Syr. USC out! LOL. It is all about power wins! ASU the only team to beat 2#1 Seeds. Hopefully GuardU makes free throws and plays with a huge chip on their shoulder like Nov/Dec.

They sucked it up. Missing all kinds of FTs and also shooting a ton of 3 pointers isn't going to win you games.

Lol. What are you 12 years old?
You don't expect a lot more of that? Horrible showing by pretty much every team in both this year leads the way for dipshits and dumbasses to come out of the woodwork.

The way to shut them up is go win something.

This year he was right though. Pac wasn't good in football and was down right awful in basketball. It happens, I think next year will be a big improvement.
I mean way to go out on a limb there bro.

They don't have to do much to reach improvement. Win 2 bowl games and have a team or two make it at least into the round of 32 and both are improved.

Sad that it's at that point, but for sure no one expects it to stay down at that level for any length of time. It was a historically bad year compared to all P5 seasons in history.

Really not sure how much better the football results will be with all of the new coaching staffs, but there is really no chance the basketball ends anywhere near this bad. A whole lot of bad breaks.

Bruins have the #4 recruiting class. That combined with the two who were caught red handed in "Gina" will give them 8 Fr., with a likely all Fr. starting lineup.

The American Athletic and the Pac-12 need to start a conference challenge series in basketball ASAP.
