JJ was solid. Many people will be disappointed because it's more a character study than an action piece. On that level it works really well. No strutting scene chewing baddies this time around (besides a bit of a cameo by someone from S1).

I thought the direction they took the friend (radio DJ) was a bit weird. Most of my criticisms would be on that. Some of the tension between the two would have been friendship killers if they were being realistic, especially with women who hold grudges men can't even imagine.

I didn't think it was weird at all... thought it was very linear... she clearly had sidekick envy... I am interested where their relationship goes now... the JJ series has been so integrated on sisterhood, that I cant imagine them to go astray from that for long...

I agree, but again, the whole series is so about sisterhood, that I cant see them not reconciling at some point(if there is a season 3)... defenders doesn't really focus on the secondary characters...

I am about half way through. I was meh on the first season before David Tennant showed up. This season is even more meh without the possibility of Tennant.

That being said, way better than Iron fist. This series seems to be a solid third place out of all of em. 4th if we are counting the Defenders.

Watching now. Into ep 2.

The SFX for Wizzer were horrendous. Then JJ jumping into the funeral in E2 was almost as cringe worthy.

Really disappointing given what a huge hit these shows are. Why cut corners on the meat and potatoes of the shows?
