This would be my plan...emphasis on my plan. I am a Long term guy.

FA...I am assuming we resign Brown and lose Murphy and Long.

Donte Moncrief- 3 years, 9 million with 6 guaranteed
Austin Sefarian Jenkins- 3 years, 9 million with 5 guaranteed

Daquan Jones- 5 years, 30 million, with 12 guaranteed

Draft...trade back if possible unless a can’t miss prospect is there
1- Payne or Vea
2- Nick Chubb or Derrius Guice
4- Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, OLB
5- Colby Gossett, G
6- Christian Sam, OLB
7- Mike Love, OLB
7-Tre Flowers, S

My overall goal is to get more athletic and establish the trenches. This draft should take pressure off CDC and the backside of the defense. It leaves a possible hole at WR because of a poor front office and I don’t see any sure fire ways to plug the hole.

Not bad. I think the skins should be on the look out for a TE. Reed cant be relied on. As for WR perhaps they double down and add a John Brown or a Mike Wallace in addition to Moncrief

I am always looking for improving this team long term. I don’t like any of the young FA TEs and we have more glaring needs in the draft with better quality players at other positions available in the draft.

Again, this is my plan, not the Redskin plan. John Brown and Mike Wallace both have speed but aged or priced themselves out of a contract with me. I don’t take a chance on Brown because of injury with expected price. I also don’t like small receivers on the outside typically.

I believe Moncrief has the most upside in this FA class for value. Honestly, I think that potential would be wasted with Smith but it is there. We would have a young receiving corps with Moncrief and Doctson outside, Crowder in the slot, and Robert Davis and Maurice Harris from the bench. I do understand they would be largely unproven and a possible weakness. I am just not a fan of the WR FAs available and not a fan in this draft based on our needs and draft strengths.

Yeah the draft is super weak at the position. Its a good F/A class and the skins should take advantage of it. Moncrief at the very least is an improvement over pryor/grant

I like moncrief but I'm not sure he'd come that cheap. ASJ either.

That said I like the plan as a whole

I would say it is a very weak receiving class. The only two young receivers with 1000 yard season is coming back off a season ending injury and surgery, or a guy who has barely got over 500 yards the last two seasons while being healthy. Hell, last season we lost two, thousand yard receivers on our own team.
