He wanted out and saves us cap room for Sheldon Richardson
IIRC he wanted out after Seattle said he was available.
Hate to say this but this was a great move for Seattle. I just wished it had happened before the SB. He would've been worth a couple 1st downs and likely an different outcome to the game.

Pipe down, I'm having some fun with one of your fellow idjits. I gotta find how a no name WR will help the pass rush so I can pass the info along to BB.
in fairness to roy, he didn't know the eagles offer of a no name WR and a 5th round pick was less than what the patriots reportedly offered for the same player that would have helped the pass rush.

Why would they bring in a knucklehead like Bennett and deal with all of his nonsense when they already had a defense good enough to dominate the NFC?
Because the D shit the bed against the AFC:noidea:

I was definitely expecting Seattle to get rid of him this year along with Sherman who just got too beat up by injuries. Both him and Bennett are media/field/locker room distractions (locker room minor).

In addition, Seattle is bringing in a whole new coordinator group and I don't see Sherman/Bennett giving any respect to those guys or listening to them. Thomas is a bit more centered and Wagner hasn't really brought any drama - he just shuts up and plays.

I didn't really expect Seattle to get more than a 4th or 5th for Bennett. He's 32, has a bit of an attitude, was tied for the 2nd most penalties in the league last year (10 offsides, 2 neutral infractions), etc. He's still overall a monster player if he can keep up the steam given he had 8.5 sacks and is extremely solid against the run.

I'll give Philly a A-. Despite some issues it's a major upgrade if Bennett can perform well at minimum cost and Bennett will likely be trying his best given Eagles' chance to repeat and Cox is the best player on the line.

I'll give Seattle a B. They lose a good player but it helps them rebuild since it doesn't appear Seattle is close to the favorite in the NFC this year, they acquire an extra pick which is desperately needed given their ammo, and helps them retain Sheldon Richardson which is reason enough alone to trade a 32 year old talented discipline issue. Very mediocre grade... it's a rebuilding move and they certainly don't get the full value from Bennett's talent.
Well it's nice to see you grade on a curve.

Nobody fucking cares about the Eagles. Did you type that gem or not?

Looks like the Pats were going to give up more... desperation, I guess.

Sweet, now the Hawk fans here don't have to bend over backwards so far defending the piece of shit.
Well as soon as Sherman leaves what will Seahawk fans have to talk about? Your membership is going to take a hit.

I have bigger concerns about them dropping Sherman. Unless his injury is worse than I thought, I really don't like that idea.
If that's the case Sherman may just get released and not traded or traded for a 6th round pick?

Never going to happen. You honestly going to think a player is going to play the last year of his contract out when an owner pulls up to his house with a truck full of money?

One that yells to Jerry "come get me"
