And what you should realize is this

For three years "Redskins fans" on this board have been adamant that Cousins should have either never been made the starter, should be gotten rid of as soon as possible.

We were fed the mantra of he is just a game manager and we would easily find some one better. He wasnt worth getting paid.

But forget that... we were hammered that we needed a QB who was special and capable of carrying the team. Expectations of being adequate were set at the Brady, Rogers, Favre, Manning level.

THIS was what we needed at QB.

And yes "Redskins Fans" trolled this board constantly... or at least the QB. Waiting with fingers poised every Sunday for a loss, or Cousins to make a mistake to show how.. he wasnt the guy.

All thats fine and dandy, because Skinsdad, myself and a few others were actually respectable for the most part despite the rampant level of hate and trolling by some of this teams own fan base.

But now, when we didnt get the uberstud QB, we traded for a guy who by most of these fans own admission was brought in not to IMPROVE, but to not get worse at a premium price. Now we are trolls, haters and just Cousins Nut huggers??

So forgive us if we act about Smith the way some "Redskins Fans" acted the past three years.

SO yall can lower expectations now that Smith is here. But I will maintain that if he does not do BETTER than I expected out of this team lead by Cousins, IM going to mention it.
