#1 -Alabama Crimson Tide (11-0, 7-0 SEC) No movement for the Tide who have held down the spot here all year for me. Things are about to get real though as they travel to Auburn for the Iron Bowl. Some key players returning should be key, but honestly, this game will be decided on the Offense and Defensive line, for BOTH teams.

#2 -Auburn Tigers (9-2, 6-1 SEC) No movement here after taking care of business against ULM. Things looked choppy early last week for the Tigers, but coming off that emotional win against UGA, and look ahead to Alabama, that should be too surprising.

#3 - Georgia Bulldogs (10-1, 7-1 SEC) Bulldogs hold down the #3 spot after beating the Wildcats. I was worried for the Bulldogs have their bad loss to Auburn, but Kirby got this team ready, and took care of business. Sadly, for the Dawgs, it doesn't get any easier next week.

#4 - Mississippi State Bulldogs (8-3, 4-3 SEC) Mullen and Co continue to win at a school that just isn't used to it. The Bulldogs stay ahead of LSU after winning the head-to-head, and really playing a great game against Bama, where they should have won.

#5 - LSU Tigers (8-3, 5-2 SEC)
Tigers and Coach O continue looking good since their loss to Troy. Not many teams have been on a roll since suffering an embarrassing loss like that. However, beating up on the likes of Arkansas and Tennessee mean little, it's at least what they were supposed to do.

#6 Texas A&M (7-4, 4-3 SEC) Aggies stay in sixth after a good win on the road in Oxford. The Aggies have done a good job of beating teams they are supposed to, while failing beat those that they are the underdog in. Sumlin's seat is still hot down there in Texas.

#7 - South Carolina Gamecocks (8-3, 5-3 SEC) South Carolina's loss to A&M is what prevents the Cocks from moving further up in my rankings. They have been really impressive recently, and Muschamp has got himself a good, bowl eligible team up in Columbia, SC.

#8 Kentucky Wildcats (7-4, 4-4 SEC) Wildcats looked pretty awful against UGA, and I'm not just talking about their offense. They have looked good at times, and really poor during others. I'll keep them here and see how their do against their in-state rival Louisville.

#9 Missouri Tigers (6-5, 3-4 SEC) Missouri is one of the hottest teams in the East as they ride a 5 game win streak. They were once 1-5 and looking to be worse than they were last year, but now they have beaten UF, UT, Vandy, and are on their way to a Bowl Game. Well done Mizzou.

#10 Ole Miss Rebels (5-6, 2-5 SEC) Certainly this year is a loss from the beginning. They lost their coach, can't go to a bowl, and even lost their starting QB. But this team is fun, and at times, looks pretty decent. If they could go to a Bowl Game, it would be one that I wouldn't mind seeing.

#11 Arkansas Razorbacks (4-7, 1-6 SEC) And then you have probably the best, of the worst that the SEC has to offer. Arkansas is just garbage this year, and they are in the process of doing the only thing they can to resurrect this once proud football school, and that's clean house.

#12 Florida Gators (4-6, 3-5 SEC) I was serious surprised when Gators beat UAB. This year might be the worst in recent memory, and while I do have them ranked low despite more SEC wins than Arkansas, this is purely because I think the Gators have given up this year and are playing the other team from Florida that is ready for this season to end.

#13 Tennessee Volunteers (4-7, 0-7 SEC) Someone this team beat GT, but has done absolutely nothing sense. Getting blown out by Mizzou and then losing to LSU would usually mean you are a real bottom feeder, but luckily for you, someone has to win next week and I think it's you. But if not...

#14 Vanderbilt Commodores (4-7, 0-7 SEC) Came off a win against #18 Kansas State, talked about wanting Bama, and won just 1 game (against Western Kentucky), and have been outscored 169 - 339. Somehow you can still make a bowl game...

I was expecting Mizzou to be lower, with some jabs thrown in for good measure

They are on a great run at the moment, and really have turned their season around. I'm pretty impressed really.

Coach lit a fire under their asses and moved some players around on defense

They hit the right part of the schedule and are not only winning, but beating ass.
