THIS, why the heck was he on the field if he knew the achilles was gonna exploded???

Apparently he injured it in the game against the Rams and has been battling it ever since. Makes me wonder if maybe he should've sat a game or two.

This is a hard injury for a corner to recover from, I'm unsure he will ever be the same.

Honestly I think Sherman would make good decisions... He was screaming at the DC Richards because he was playing terrible chess letting Atlanta right back in the game, Sherman play's to win, and he cares about winning where lot's of players just want a paycheck... I respect Sherman because of that... X and O's I think he understands very well...
He also screamed at the O coord and PC. This wasn't a one time incident with him.

I beg to differ I think most players all have a deep desire to win. It's a big reason they're where they're at.

There is a time and a place for everything. Calling out team mates and coaches decisions on the sidelines isn't that place.

Many a great player have turned out to be dud coaches. It's no secret I dislike Sherman like many others. I would not respect him as a coach. Respect is earned and he hasn't done that for me with his antics.

Brutal year for the Hawks for injuries.

Maybe, but play without RW and see what happens. No hope without your franchise QB. It sucks, believe me.

I don't know the rules on injury reporting well enough to discuss.

But if Pete was being cute with the injury report again this could get interesting.

Hey I give the guy credit. Some players would have packed it in and gotten paid and ready for 2018.

Get a better front office. To have NO hope (your words) on a 53 person team the FO has set you up for failure. Now that doesn't mean they wouldn't miss a beat or two with a back up, but if your TEAM is that hapless because of one injury that's sad.

I do too. Listening to his post game presser he kind of hinted at it was just a matter of time. He said he'd been avoiding quick cuts on it. Depending on the severity of the tear it wasn't going to heal without surgery.

I'm sure if Brady goes out for 8-10 games Brian Hoyer can step in and won the Super Bowl. Damn, I wish my team had a backup plan like that.

There you go. Go overboard. Who said anything about SB? You said no hope.

How long you been watching football? Matt cassell, Jimmy Garapollo, Jacoby Brisett just to mention Patriots have done ok.

I'll say again get a better front office.

You've told me twice to get a better front office. I'll work on that.

Those guys you listed have led the Pats to the playoffs 0 times.

Speaking of the Shehawks,

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; URL=https://mobile.twitter.com/i/nojs_router?path=/">

The problem with this though is that Wilson was sent to the sideline by Walt Anderson who proved last night that he can't make a basic judgement call to save his life. Based on Anderson's officiating it's clear that he has a severe case of dementia. Are we just going to let people with severe mental illnesses judge who has to come out of the game for multiple plays?

Agreed, players muscles are so strong now and they're so fast that their tendons and ligaments can't hold with all that pressure. These guys need more isometric training at an appropriate ratio to all their speed and power lifting training to strengthen those joints and ligaments
A very true statement.

Yet another player getting put on IR this season. What is going on in the NFL now? Are strength and conditioning coaches not doing their jobs? More freak non contact injuries? Field turf worse? What gives?

Let's wait and see what the test results say, that burn can make you think it's torn, let's wait until it's confirmed...
Just be glad that Wilson is healthy. He is the guy they can least afford to lose.

Oh Please. We're talking about a QB. It makes a huge difference to lose your starting QB. If Brady goes down this Sunday, so do the Patriots.

However, they did give the team hope. 11-5 and 3-1. Definetly not HOPELESS.

Oh please 11-5 and 3-1 say differently. Again I'm not saying they go to the SB. But I also don't buy into a FO not having enough depth across the ranks that if ONE player goes down your season is hapless.

Jimmy played 6 Q's and got injured, won the first game vs a dismal AZ when they missed an easy FG. Pats got shutout at home vs Buffalo with Brissett. Nobody can replace a franchise QB. GB , Seattle sure cant and Pats prob have a 4-4 record with the way the defense started out if Brady was out this year. Brady, Rodgers and Wilson have the best td/int ratio a and guys like Wentz , Prescott anWtson are following suit. Alex Smith has also a great td/int ratio and win-loss
