The next time you're objective would be the first. You like Jarntt until he disagrees with you then you have a cow over him.

Yeah, Ive argued with Jarntt... a lot. But hes a good dude even though we disagree sometimes.

Round and round we go...just stop it already and serve the damn suspension. If somehow the Cowboys turn this thing around and make the playoffs and are playing well enough to go deep and this bullshit ends up with him being suspended for the playoffs these idiots will deserve what they get and I'm going to be :mad2:

Ezekiel Elliott’s Texas lawsuit “not over” yet

The victory secured by the NFL in the Ezekiel Elliottcase on Thursday feels final, even if it isn’t.

It’s not final for multiple reasons. First, the NFL’s lawsuit aimed at defending the six-game suspension remains pending in New York. There, a judge could still delay the suspension via a preliminary injunction while the litigation proceeds.

Second, the lawsuit filed by Elliott in Texas is, we’re told, “not over.”

As one source with knowledge of the situation explains it to PFT, Elliott could pursue various strategies before the federal court in Texas or the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, which issued Thursday’s decision dismissing the case because it was not filed on a timely basis. For example, Elliott could file a petition for a rehearing, either by the three-judge panel that issued Thursday’s ruling or the full collection of Fifth Circuit judges.

By rule, Elliott and the NFLPA have 14 days to file a petition for a rehearing. Which means that, during this window, the NFL probably should reconsider its position that the Elliott suspension is immediately effective. Doing so could risk incurring the ire of the Fifth Circuit through yet another skirmish that could emerge as soon as today.

Elliott is for Elliott.

they will appeal and he will continue to play after the bye.

like the pats did, the cowboys will find a team friendly judge on appeal.

Zeke ain't gonna win. I think we should just accept the suspension, deal with it this year, see what we can do without him and if we can make hay at the end of the year for a playoff push, and then play with a chip on our shoulders the next two years while zeke and dak are cheap.

Probably not in New York but IMO it is stupid to keep fighting. Elliot is going to eventually serve the suspension and if I am the Cowboys it would be smart to have him serve it now and get it over with. They are not winning the Superbowl.....hell they are not even going to win the division.

However.....it is more than just games for Elliot. This suspension has financial ramifications that could hurt his bottom line. Not only will he lose game checks I think there is a clause that pertains to his bonus as well. He loses less money this year though than he would next year.

It should make him feel better though when he sues that lying bitch in court and puts her ass in bankruptcy protection to protect what's left of the shitty life she now has.

No fan should root for a player on the rival team, regardless

Which is why I can't draft anybody in the east for my fantasy football team. I am 1 and 4....... But two weeks in a row I was the 2nd highest scorer only to be beat by the highest in both weeks.

Next man up. If you can't win without a RB for 6 weeks you aren't making a long playoff run anyway.:noidea:

This just reinforces my thought that he should have just served it after losing the appeal. The Cowboys gained little by him playing and he'd almost be done by now. He went the court route and gained nothing but prolonging the discussions about the issue, keeping a spotlight on the issue and burdening the team.

I sure hope this makes him hungry when he comes back. He hasn't looked so hungry all season.

If I'm Zeke, I just accept the suspension and move on. He is going to serve the full 6 games eventually. Cowboys aren't going anywhere this season. Take your suspension and move on from this. Feels like he is fighting a losing battle IMO

I recently traded for Wentz. My QBs are now Wentz, Eli and an injured Luck. I just separate the 2. I never root for anything that would hurt the Cowboys and will actually root against my own fantasy players at times, but I'm not going to bypass a player that help me win. rooting against Wentz didn't keep me from getting points for those TD passes:noidea:

Nah, it all seems unfair. I don't know what the NFL learned in their investigations though. I had Zeek in all 3 of my league and picked up Morris in all 3 like a week ago. I like playing teams at their best and as much as I hhate the Cowboys Zeek is fun to watch.

I don't go after Cowboy fans for no reason. I try to be objective but Manster is a complete clown. Even when he's beat, buried and embarrassed he refuses to man up but I like Colors, Jarntt and Ford. Good dudes.

Bro, McFadden is going to get the bulk of touches with Elliott out.

I can't fault anyone for getting guys that can score. It is just on eof those things for me.

Doubt it. McFadden has been inactive all season while Morriss was back there running. I think Morris and the Smith boys can get the job done.

I'm glad AP got traded before this news came down.

edit: ninja'd. damn

McFadden got outplayed in the preseason. He has been inactive so far.

I'm aware. He'll be getting more touches than Morris by the 2nd game without Zeke (if it comes to that.)
