Gotta be us. Especially if measured by "bang for your buck" standards.

The answer is nowhere. No place does it suck to be a fan of college football. Well maybe Ann Arbor

Wrong, the obvious answer is Texas.

Kentucky, Indiana, North Carolina, and the north east all seem like football season is just the warm up until basketball season starts.

Whereas, I completely disagree with you, I understand the dig at the OP. How Texas is not a great College Football State is beyond me ... they may be the best. One weekend does not define it. 2nd best is probably Florida, followed by California. Just my humble opinion.

disagree on Colorado, even with their recent struggles. Folsom Field is awesome.

Well...let's see...

41 states have a Div 1 team.

35 of those states have at least 1 P5 team

23 states have both P5 and Other.

9 states have no Div 1 football school..

The states with the most FBS schools are...
Texas has 12 (5 P5)
Ohio has 8 (1 P5)
Calif has 7 (4 P5)
No Car has 7 (4 P5)
Florida has 7 (3 P5)

In regard to NC's...
Both of Alabama's P5 teams have combined for 12 NC's since the AP began polling in 1936.

All 3 of Florida's P5 teams have combined for 11 NC's since 1981. There is no state in the
Union that can match Florida for having 3 FBS schools that have won multiple NC's.

I have no idea where the worst CFB is...but I have a good idea where the best is.

Any team that uses 100 different uniforms, should not have football.

What does Chicago have to do with the state of Indiana?
It doesn't ... it was just the first map image that came up, so I plucked it. It was kinda convenient, too, as to make sure there was no confusion that one might think that Indiana may be next to Alaska.

I wouldn't have used that to compare. 'Course I use women as my selection. I would think
ND is akin to Moscow with their women.

Half are the cutest gals in the world and the other half look like they could fling the
discuss 200 feet.

The teams may suck, but CFB does pretty decent TV ratings in NC. Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham and Greensboro/Winston-Salem are consistently ranked in the Top 25 when it comes to CFB TV viewership.
