Are you calling for Nicholls State to upset the Aggies? Nicholls State is the only team A&M plays without a FBS last year.

I am definitely happy about how the season ended for A&M. They quit on the season in the 3rd quarter of the Bama game and were terrible for the rest of the year that included a pathetic performance against K-State. That being said, they didn't lose to Kansas.

Nicholls, Louisiana (not state), South Carolina, Miss state, now ole miss would all do.

That's almost ridiculous as Texas jumping from unranked up to #11 in the country after beating ND last year.

• #16 UCLA - Yes, UCLA was overrated but they finished with the same record as ND
• #17 Arkansas - A convincing win over an unbeaten Arkansas
• #10 Tennessee - Another ranked unbeaten team

Texas went from unranked to #11 by beating #10 ND that finished 4-8 and that couldn't figure out that all the Texas QB could do was throw deep.

Last year - Texas beat ND....that must mean they are back. Make them #11.
This year - Texas has a new coach lets rank them preseason.

At least A&M actually did something on the field to be ranked last year and will have to do it again this year.

Funny thing is I think a lot of A&M fans are hoping for a Kansas loss. Perhaps that is why Texas is ranked. Texas has one thing that A&M doesnt.....hope
