When you have a young, raw QB, the thing you really need is a solid Oline and a strong running game, and I think the Browns are set up nicely in those areas

The cherry on top obviously being Ossweiler is an absolutely awful QB, and Kizer looking pretty solid so far

I definitely ain't picking Kyle Orton Jr. though. Just glad Houston gave him the big bucks and not Denver.

Brock will start the first few weeks, but Kizer is clearly the best QB in the room and his ability to manage the pocket is a good fit with the Browns OL and running ability. Think a young Big Ben- he'll hold the ball too much- but he's going to make a play for you if you give him a chance.

Time for them to forget about stopgap players and put in someone they can build around. If Kessler was really going to be their future then we wouldn't be having this discussion. The only reason Osweiller is still employed is because the Browns would look like complete assholes by cutting him outright & eating the dead money before they have their QB position figured out.

Only problem is he has a penchant for tucking it and running when his first option isn't there.

That'll get him killed in the NFL awfully quickly.
