Everyone seems to be taking this to mean LeBron is definitely gone.
The reports that LeBron was shocked and devastated makes me think the opposite. Of course its a very real possibility... but I think if LeBron had his mind made up to leave already, he wouldn't care that much about Kyrie requesting a trade.
I think Lebron saw one more opportunity this season in Cleveland before dipping out to join a better player (Paul George possibly in LA) to win a title. Kyrie literally telling management that he no longer wants to play with Lebron obviously affects chemistry and doesn't make it any easier getting back to the Finals, let alone dethroning that juggernaut in the Warriors.
If Kyrie gets traded, the best they're likely going to get back is Melo - who's basically the same player as Kyrie but older and slower.
