Going off the vibe of the Hoop I'd say Baltimore vs. NE is a rival.
The H2H match up doesn't validate the vibe.Going off the vibe of the Hoop I'd say Baltimore vs. NE is a rival.
Fine, but you have to admit there's a lot of friction between the two.The H2H match up doesn't validate the vibe.
Yeah it's kind of hard to say.
There's still a rivalry with the Dolphins. They always play NE tough and that goes back years. There is deep rooted hate with the Jets. Buffalo is well Buffalo. Now that Rex is gone nothing to see there.
Pitt and Baltimore are about the same on the rivalry scale. IMHO they need to beat NE on a more consistent basis over the next few years to be what I feel is a good rivalry. Don't get me wrong these are great snot knocker games with no love lost.
Colts tried to make it a rivalry.
So my personal pick goes to Denver.
Maybe Oakland becomes a rivalry. These two were years ago.
I think Pats vs Goodell....So far it's 3-0 Goodell, as we await the next go round !!!!

Good points all around. I guess I forget Miami/NE is a good rivalry cause of how dominate the Pats have been over the years in the AFCE so I kind of lumped them all together but yes the fish do play NE tough year in and year out.
I always enjoyed the Brady/Manning rivalry but the problem was outside of the Colts team that won the SB, their FO never really put a defense on the field hoping Manning could out score every team which happened up until playoff time.
I do think Oakland will take over the AFCW and if Carr didn't go down NE/Oak could have made for an excellent game so that is a rivalry that could be sparked up again if Carr doesn't get hurt.
Denver is Denver, they just find ways to win.
I'm not sure listing teams in your division counts but I get the feeling even with most hardcore old timers that KC's main rival is Denver and likely will be Denver. Mahomes timetable for success is likely closer to Paxton Lynch's timetable and not Carr who is already theoretically hitting his stride.Oakland/KC definitely has potential to be a good current one (i.e not just historical)
The media put a lot of eggs into the Andrew Luck basket and I'm not quite sure the Colts are in a good spot right now.
It'll be Cowboys/Team X. Seahawks are probably the strongest Team X just due to the Cardinals probably going through rebuilding soon and the Rams being allergic to catching footballs. If Goff has some sort of magical breakthrough, Cowboys/Rams would definitely be my pick but I dont think the Seahawks are going anywhere.
Denver/Pats is a good one.

Yeah. I thought about listing the Falcons just because they have Julio Jones but the Falcons are in the NFC South and flash in the pan seasons happen there more often than not.I think the Hawks are definitely trending down, but not down enough just yet to lose grip of that awful division.....In a stronger division, I think the Hawks would be ripe for a 8-8 season

With the Falcons, you had Matt Ryan go from like the 18th best QB in the league in 2015 to the 1st or 2nd best QB in 2016. Thats nuts. When teams started attacking Cam after he had something similar happen the year before, you saw the Panthers slump.Falcons wont have the toughness to deal with the fact that they will have a target on their backs all season, and every week will be the other teams' SB......I saw it with some awful year after SB's with the Giants
Let's criticize your qb who admits to jerkin off before each game....but I'm sure you missed that.
