Per Reedy Cincy will announce Guenther as DC and Im ok with that.... BOTH Zimmer and Gruden wanted Guenther as their DC! Thats saying something...he also turned Burfict and Rey into bonfide stars.... We keep Zimmer's playbook and keep kicking ass......

Absolutely true. His players would run through a fiery brick wall for him. If only they would do that for Marvin. He's gonna be damned hard to replace.

I've seen a few suggestions about Zimmer today, but I've seen nothing about Guenther joining him.

I've seen quite a few folks suggest that Guenther becomes our DC.

One point -- If Guenther is under contract, I believe we can block Zimmer from hiring him.

We can block the interview and readers contacted Reedy and this is what he is reporting via sources on the Bengals....

I find nothing in Reedy's feed to suggest that Zimmer is gone or that Guenther is going with him. Reedy calls it all pre-emptive.

One thing we do know..... Zimmer was in Minny today. If he's not announced tonight or tomorrow, they are likely waiting for one of the coordinators playing this week to complete a formal interview.

It's looking like a good bet that he's getting the job.

But I think it's premature to believe he's taking Guenther with him. The Bengals hold all the cards here....If they want Guenther, he'll stay. If they want Jimmy, he'll leave.

Why should he leave? He's set for life and has the only secure head coaching job in history. His boss loves him no matter what he does. He'd be an idiot to leave. He has a license to steal for chrissakes.
