Zack McCray

Surprised no one put this up, sorry I was out of the loop this weekend visiting family, but ZM is now a TE at VT.

I for one REALLY like this move. I saw ZM play WR/TE in HS with Lo throwing to him and he was very good. He has good hands and can block. Not sure how much we will see of him the next few games as he learns the play book, but I think this is a very good move.

Seems like he wasn't going to make an impact on the D-Line. I kinda wish this move was made sooner (like spring or summer), so that he would've had a chance to compete this year. I guess the coaches thought he still had a chance on the D-Line, or he personally didn't want to make the move at the time.

I highly doubt this will make an impact this season, but he will be competing for a spot in the spring. He's still got 2 more years. I'm rooting for him to get on the field.

well .. at least the change is being made NOW and not in january .. i like the move too. he was a 4* athlete coming out of HS and was being recruited as both TE and DL by most schools .. i could see him making the transition successful and hopefully FAST.

Oh Fooz.... I know you like to pop into every thread in an attempt to bash our team, but Malleck has been good. Had a very solid game against Miami and has continuously improved throughout the season. What makes you think that McCray will be better than what we have?

Did Malleck look good tonight? I know I saw him make at least one seriously pathetic block attempt. You do know that a TE needs to block right?
