Has anybody broken it to OD that your team must at least win it's conference division to play for the Natty? I believe it is a rule from back in '01 when the Huskers were in the NC game and was not even in the conference championship game.

I've been waiting to say anything about that. I want to see the hypocrisy from the whiners...

Well one possible scenario is gone for him. Georgia won today so if Georgia beats Bama and ND wins, Oregon is screwed.

I have heard on numerous occassions that no one wants a SEC title game again, so you can expect the coaches to vote Oregon to jump Florida, also especially if UCLA beats Stanford and Oregon becomes PAC-12 champs. We would have an extra game and a conference title over Florida. So Gators are not going regardless.

But let's not forget, Georgia Tech could easily beat Georgia and Georgia could beat Bama. SEason LONG from over.

How'd that work out?

Florida is still #2 in all of the computer polls but one, and if they beat FSU... it will be real hard for the voters to put Florida far enough back for Oregon to pass them.

Alabama looks solid vs. Auburn. Oregon's best hope is USC beating Notre Dame, UCLA beating Stanford, and FSU beating UF. I think Oregon has to go to Pac12 Championship game and win it to be in National Title picture.

I don't like the odds of all three of those falling in place. I think Notre Dame beats USC.
