Packers:

1. Reggie White - HOF and leader on defense that helped bring Lombardi Trophy to Green Bay. Made it OK for players to come to Green Bay again after 70s and 80s and players treated Green Bay like Siberia.

2. Charles Woodson - HOF and leader on defense that helped bring Lombardi Trophy to Green Bay.

3. Willie Wood - HOF, undrafted free agent. One of the cornerstones of 60s Packers defense.

Others of note... Frank Winters, Santana Dotson, Tramon Williams (undrafted), Sam Shields (undrafted), Julius Peppers

Shit, most of my recollections of Eagles in FA are horror stories. Nnamdi Asomugha is likely the worst. I guess the best may be Malcolm Jenkins or John Runyan.

It is crazy how much talent is out there that doesn't get drafted like the Rams finds for example.

Easy. Matt Flynn was easily the best free agent signing for not only the Seahawks, but all time!

Historically speaking, the Bills haven't fared particularly well in free agency.

One FA that stands out is Ted Washington. It seemed like the defense was completely different with him on the field.

The Bills have arguably done better with undrafted free agents. Two that come to mind:
Fred Jackson - 3rd all time in team rushing yards, behind two HOF members.
Jason Peters - the Bills signed him to play TE, and took several years to convert him to OT.

Wash was kinda a disappointment when he was a Niner. Maybe because he had 1st round expectations attached to him that hasn’t able to far exceed. Moving to Buffalo seemed to do wonders for his legacy, at least, if for nothing else.

1. Cris Carter (HOF) - Technically this was a waiver claim after Buddy Ryan said "All he does is catch touchdowns".
2. John Randle (UDFA and HOF)
3. Mick Tinglehoff (UDFA and HOF)
4. Steve Hutchinson
5. Antoine Winfield
6. Brett Favre
7. Randall Cunningham
8. Adam Thielen (UDFA)
9. Robert Griffith (UDFA)
10. Pat Williams

HM: Ryan Longwell if you don't want to count Cris Carter as a free agent.
