I loved the original Dance Fever starring Danny Terio, but I stopped watching after they replaced him with Adrian Zmed. Dance Fever back-to-back with Solid Gold! Man, that made for some great Saturday evenings.

Older kid and into teenage years: M*A*S*H, Happy Days, All in the Family

I am no doubt forgetting a bunch.

And one I am sure has not been mentioned.....(drum roll)

So many great bits in that show I have committed to memory.

Personal favourite? When Henry (not George) Jefferson and Archie were circulating a petition to keep some Puerto Ricans from buying the house down the street.

It's a question of looking out for #1, etc.....

Gloria: "So daddy, are Puerto Ricans #3?"

Archie: "No little girl. Actually they'd be #4. Your Japs and your Chinks would be #3. 3A and 3B...."

They could never make that show today if it wasn't on cable.
