The #5 spot is really up for grabs since Baylor hasn't played anyone and their defense is still bad. I almost put USC there, but they haven't played anyone either. Of course MSU has the best win so far, but I can't put them higher than #4 right now because the defense has issues.

tSEC will set a record when the new AP polls come out with 9 teams in the top 5. After a loss to a tough Toledo opponent Arkansas will drop one spot to 19th. Mississippi State will be given credit for playing a tough SEC schedule and will jump to #21. Disappointed with the fluke loss against Oklahoma, Tennessee will remain at #23.
