I'll be happy if anyone takes out LeWrong Shames' OverHEATed.

My native city's Thunder or adapted city's Celtics especially but not exclusively.

I love my Blazers, but I'm not putting them into the finals just yet.

The west has too many good, playoff tested team to put the Blazers in the finals. Conference finals? They have a decent shot.

Besides, Miami needs to worry about Indiana before they worry about western conference teams.

This is another spot where I hope Miami comes in as a favorite, I will hammer the shit out of POR. Miami will be on the 2nd of a back to back, 3 in 4 nights and the last of a 4 game road trip over 6 nights. So as always when Miami loses Indy will claim the title (mainly in the form of butt hurt Laker fans), and MIA fans will say, it's december still. We will see what POR fans say but they seem pretty grounded about the time of year and the long road ahead.

POR -1 is the line.

As great as Portland is playing they may very well lose in the first round if they're not a 1 or 2 seed.

Nothing against Portland, it's just the West is that strong. The Mavs and Warriors could even do some damage if they stay healthy and play great basketball.

Portland is VERY good, they're fun to watch.......but they're not ready yet. Much like OKC in years prior, I see a talented team that hasn't gone through the fire of the nba playoffs. Give em this year(and maybe even the next)....and they'll be ready to compete for a chip

I think Blazers fans will be happy if they're able to get the 2nd round and lose in 6 games to OKC/SAS

Considering that Portland has not won a playoff series in 13 years, I'm guessing you are right.

I know I would be happy with a couple of playoff series wins, but I hope that the Blazer players do not feel that way. They need to stay greedy.

I agree. I just want a good strong showing in the playoffs with a series win or two. Portland is still a season or two away from truly contending.

The recent winning is making it more likely LaMarcus will stick around too, so there is that.
