Boy this is tough.

Do we keep Von, Casey, Bouye, and/or Simmons?

If we keep Von, and Simmons I might see if we could trade down. If there is no interest for other trading up (doubtful with Fields on the board) I would go Parsons or Surtain. If we let Von go we could use an edge rusher too.

Fields, Smith, Parsons and Surtain II ALL still on the board at #9? God is a Broncos fan!!!
picking @ 9 will offer a lot of options. I’m already excited for next year.

I think I would make the trade with the Atlanta Falcons. Seems like a lot to give up for this year, but my thought process is an extra 1st and 2nd in 2022 it gives us the ability to trade trade up if need next year, and the Falcons may have a high pick next year too. Depends on how you feel about next years draft compared to this year. Also depends on what type of contracts we have after the free agency period.

Without a trade down, which would be my first option to the Falcons. If I keep the pick, I would have to get Fields and hope to trade Lock for a 2nd or 3rd.

As much as I hate to toss Lock out, it would be really tough to pass on Fields, and it will really surprise me if Lance goes before him. But if he’s there, that’s obviously going to create a lot of great trade opportunities if the new FO believes Lock can still become the QBOTF. The worst of those offers is NE - so it would be so great to tell Bill to shove it.
but I wonder who the Falcons would be so desperate to move up for since they just drafted Wilson? Maybe Slater at OT? I don’t see them giving up that kind of package for an OT. Same with the Ravens, do they suddenly need a QB? Did Jackson get convicted of a crime? :)

Besides trading the house for Watson in Houston, I'd have to take Fields. You just can't pass on his skill set given the changing game in the NFL.

Parsons or Surtain would be a very close 2nd, especially if the new front office believes in Lock.

I have heard that Fields is considered a project. I don’t know enough about evaluating QBs to know.

The other thing is 2021 is a playoff or bust year. Starting over with a young QB is not going to help that.

Roll with Lock and see what happens next year. The QB class next year is deeper from what I heard, again I am no expert.
