lol,

Ranking all 32 NFL offensive lines entering Week 5 | ProFootballFocus.com

#30 overall and Justin Britt has been a complete loser at left guard. Nobody has earned a positive grade so as a unit we're playing fairly terrible, but I know Carpenter last year was a minor stud at the run support. That's clearly impacted our ability to run the ball. Maybe we should move Britt back to RT? Or just admit he's a bust and move on.

Packers are pretty low too (26) but that's largely because Bulaga went out. Their replacement at RT has a huge negative grade.

Cincy is ranked #6 and they've gone against some okay pass rushers.... might have to get some blitzes going to rattle Dalton.

6 years in, oline is a bust. Carpenter wasnt worth the money though. Maybe we should have kept giaccomini.

I'm surprised that there are 2 lines considered worse than ours. How is that even possible?

Dang couldn't edit fast enough. This is annoying though:

James Carpenter(+2.3). Justin Britt (-14.8). That's a HUGE swing.... bet we would be doing far better had we retained Carpenter. Guy was just getting decent and we let him walk. Bleh.

Least Byron Maxwell has been terrible.

"Despite Maxwell having two pass breakups, opponents have completed 21-of-25 passes against him for 315 yards and a 145.4 NFL passer rating. His 2.30 yards per coverage snap is the highest in the NFL."

Before we get too excited about this, ex-Seahawk Breno Giacomini is struggling heavily for the exact same team.

Carps problem was reporting fat and out of shape to camp, which lead to injuries. Except for his contract year, where he final came to camp in shape for a change. Maybe he realized what a mistake it was to come to camp out of shape or maybe this is temporary on his part.:noidea:

No one noticed that the Lions OL is rated dead last and we got ZERO sacks against them?

Yeah, this is the 4th year in a row that I've been hearing about how great a pass rush we have, but I have never really thought our DL was much better than middle of the road. Either everyone is over estimating our DL, or our DL is under achieving.

Yet he would be one of the better blockers on THIS team. Heck John Moffit might be a upgrade to the play we have seen lmao.

I would like to see Britt back at RT and Baily at LG then insert Lewis at Center. I believe that would be the best case oline for this team. As bad as they played in Preseason i believe that line would have improved where as the one we have now has NOT improved. Bears had zero sacks coming into the game against us and the Lions had 2 sacks coming in against the Hawks.

Something needs to be done, no more band-aids. MAKE A GOD DAMN MOVE TO BRING IN SOME TALENT!! I like Russell Wilson to much to see him get Killed because of shear stubbornness from the coaching staff. This group WILL NOT GET BETTER, a turd will always be a turd no matter if you cover it with glitter and gold it's still a TURD!

Fieldgulls, where I got the vine clips, said the only good block was Nowak's cut block on Britt.

Yeah, it's fucking awful. And it's not like guys are getting overpowered. It's like they have no fucking idea how to play their position. That's got to be on coaching. Seems like half the plays people are just getting a free run at Wilson.
