Series Thread: Yankees @ Blue Jays April 4th-April 6th

Tanaka VS McGowan
Pineda VS Dickey
Sabathia VS Hutchison

Should be an interesting series. We'll know a little more about these two teams when it's over.

I feel bad for teams because when they look at our #4 and #5 pitcher they see 175 million dollar man in Tanaka and they see a young high ceiling guy in Pineda as the #5. Deep rotation if healthy.


I want to see us get 2 in this series.

We should get 2 if our bats get going but Toronto had a decent start to their season as they split a 4 game set in Tampa.

BTW our next 3 series are against AL East which means they're big games. We have these 3 followed by 3 at home with the O's, and another 3 at the Stadium with Boston. I will take 6-3 in those 9 games

Tanaka was a little nervous as expected in the first 2 innings but once he settled down he was really good

I like what I saw. I will say he will let up a lot of home runs. He let up 6 in Japan I see him at like 12. He sometimes throws it right down the middle. Overall I was happy with what I saw from him. Lineup is starting to look good.

I hate to say this but loving the Ellsbury and gardner 1-2. Sorry Jeter it might be time you bat 7-9.
