This is going to be a scary lineup. Ellsbury is going to be great for this lineup. Then we will have a 3,4,5 of Beltran, Tex and McCann. I love it. Then Gardner at 9 and then BOOM Ellsbury again at 1. Nice speed right there.

Pitching is my nervous area here. Both from SP's and RP's.

I'm more worried about the RP than our starters but not worried at all about the offense. I feel pretty confident in our top 4 this year as I believe CC will return to being CC

We need a more active yankees board for this exciting season

Brian mccann will thrive with that short porch in right field. There have been so many times he has flied out to the warning track in right field at turner field. He could easily hit 40 HRs this year. Plus he is great at managing a pitching staff.

Possibly the best lineup in the AL.. as long as they stay healthy. Keeping Gardner was a smart move by Cashman. Excellent defense in left and he's lightning fast. As for starting pitching, I think they'll be fine. CC should have a bounce back season and Nova is capable of 18-20 wins if he keeps his head on straight and focused. He's proven he can throw complete game shutouts. Should be fun to watch Tanaka, most likely our ace. The bullpen? Yes I'm worried.

How about Phil Hughes!? Boy good thing he's gone. Good pitcher pitching in the wrong ballpark. gave up way too many HR's.

I absolutely love the Brian McCann signing. Once Russell Martin left, they haven't had a solid everyday catcher. It was the weakest spot on the team. Now McCann fills that void tenfold, plus I like his tough attitude., he'll fit right in the Bronx.

Is Tex going to have a good year this year?

I can see Tex having a great comeback season, as long as his wrist holds up. They need his gold glove at 1st and power bat in the lineup.

Speaking of Hughes, he made a good choice to go to Minnesota considering the fact that he always pitches well in that park

McCann is going to be a beast for us. Also I think Beltran will have a nice year. Little nervous about Tex. They say he might not have full rotation on his wrist until mid season. Its still a little stiff.

Im not excited about the rotation. CC - decline, Tanaka- Who knows, Nova a solid #3 a very good #4, Kurodo- might be on the decline, Pineda or the rest of the #5- scary. I hope Pineda can give us a productive season.

RP- 1st season in a long time we don't know how our set up man and closer will do. Do we even have a set up man? Robinson not sure how he will do as a closer. I wish Mo would of played 1 more year.

Only weakness in the lineup is 2nd and 3rd base. I see us making a trade for one of those position by trade deadline.

CC will not decline this season. They already like what they're seeing in spring training

who are you gonna trade to get anybody, our minors are depleted and most teams tend to shy away from making trades with the Yankees.

David Adams looked good at times, but then it seemed he never made any adjustments once they figured him out.
We still have Nunez to fill in, giving us another bat, but one of the worse gloves.

Spring training is different then regular season. I have to see it before I believe it. CC needs to show me before I can trust him again.

I have no idea who they will trade for but knowing the Yankees they will trade for someone if they need to. It might not be a superstar but it will be someone that can help the team if 2nd base and 3rd base in struggling.

I think he is a better option then what we have. Roberts sucks and he is old. I rather play Solarte. He has more upside.

Damn Pineda looking good. This would be Big if he pitches like he did before we traded for him. I that would give this rotation a big bump up.

Agreed, a 1-2 of Tanaka/Pineda would change the outlook of this organization tremendously. Now if Nova could get his shit together the Yankees pitching would be pretty young all of the sudden.

This Solarte kid better make the team. What a spring.

I have liked this kid's ability the previous 2 springs with the Rangers, got him from the Twins and I think he could stick on an MLB roster soon. Has a bit of pop too, the Rangers have just had a log jam at MI.

I hope not I dont like him. Worst trade in Atlanta history considering all the prospects we gave up for him.

Rangers fans are very gracious
