The sad part about the XFL is a star player there will get gobbled up by the NFL once his first contract is over. Need to sign these guys to 4 year deals.

Not going to happen. First, the league can't afford to commit to guys long term. Second, if you are good enough to play in the NFL, you aren't going to want to stay in the XFL. cya

I think that was what I was saying and why ya need 4 year contracts to keep your stars as long as ya can. Don't get can't afford long term, just pay the guy the same amount for 4 seasons, so???? Bottom line is these guys aren't bailing after just a year or two.
