AS WVU heads down the month of December to get ready for BIG12 conference play,
I see some very interesting games that will probably tells us how prepared this
team is for the season.

They have navigated through NOV @ 5-0, beating a not so good Boston College
team (barely) and putting a pretty good beating on the defending NC UCONN
(though most will say they are not very good either).

Here is what remains before the Jan. 3rd matchup with TCU to open B12 play.

Fri, 11/14 MONM W 64 - 54
Sun, 11/16 LAFAY W 83 - 56
Thu, 11/20 GMASN W 91 - 65
Fri, 11/21 BC W 70 - 66
Sun, 11/23 UCONN W 78 - 68
Wed, 11/26 VMI 7:30pm
Sat, 11/29 CHAR 7:30pm
Thu, 12/4 LSU 7:00pm ESPN2
Sun, 12/7 NKTY 6:00pm
Sun, 12/14 MRSH 4:30pm
Sat, 12/20 NC ST 9:30pm ESPN2
Mon, 12/22 WOFF 7:30pm
Tue, 12/30 VT 2:00pm ESPNU

Obviously, LSU and NC St will be the real test on the schedule, but VT is always a test.
WV gets all 3 at home so that is advantage 'Eers. Marshall as well could tell us about the
heart of this team. The rest should be W's but as we learned last season - there are no
sure wins if you don't play smart and focused.

LSU has struggled already but they will come in and play hard.
NC St hasn't really played anyone. Can't say I know much about them this year.
VT - I am sure they will stink again this season but they seem to get up for WVU.

I think WVU can take 2 of the 3 - LSU being the loss.
VMI, Charleston, No. Ktcky and Wofford go in the W column as well.

Then there is Marshall. On paper, WVU should handle them in short order.
We all know how that can go though. I still see a win as WVU should be clicking by then.

So 8 games to go. I see a 7-1 record as possible for this squad. 8-0 is not out of reach.
