Somebody please explain WHY Les Miles would leave LSU for UM, and simple one word answers like "money" aren't worth posting (How many will we see, TB?).

Ii actually would love les to go there. You know the fans always say their coach needs 3-4 yrs to turn it around. Les is like 81. Hes gonna stay where he doesnt have to rebuild and can compete for a NC.

Environmentalists beware. If this happens, I will singlehandedly deplete the sac au lait population in Georgia. I will be one fishing motherfucker.

Self-interest is a powerful motivator. If the rumors of ownership's discontent are true, Harbaugh will close no door to options.

Sure he would, he'll have plenty of NFL options if he didn't want to make the jump back to Michigan.

Les Miles said back in January I believe it was that when Carr left he talked to Michigan before the SEC championship game and expected to talk to them again afterward but they hired Rodriguez in the meantime. I thought it all went down after the SEC 'ship but I'll just go with what Miles said. He said after RR was fired that he spoke (cunsulted as alum) with Michigan but he was never offered the job. He made it clear that he was never offered the Michigan job and his words were and I quote "I would never turn down Michigan". He said that Michigan took a chance on an undersized lineman, Michigan made him the man that he is today and he could never pay Michigan back for what it gave to him. This guy LOVES Michigan and no matter how senseless people might think it is leaving LSU for Michigan, if he's offered the job he's going. this isn't the ESPN Michigan flubbed another coaching hire bullshit, it's from the horse's mouth.

On the flip side, there are/were people at Michigan who would die before they let Miles coach the Wolverines. I hear a lot of those people are no longer around the program so maybe this time will be different but you just need to understand that this is his dream job. He probably feels that he should have been the coach already and if Michigan wants Miles then Miles will be the guy. I can't say I'm certain about much but I say that with full confidence.

cowheard knows absolutely NOTHING about CFB, however he has this one right. Book mark it. or bookmarket, or mind bottle it, or something like that. It will all be mute anyway when they hire Vince Lombardi.

Would be a VERY smart move for Belichick. Escape a franchise in decline with no future QB to go take over a program with a passionate fanbase. This would be great for Michigan.

It would. But it wont happen

100% publicity stunt and it worked.

I could say Nick Saban to Dallas Cowboys because Jerry Jones fired Jason Garret for getting into a drunk fight with some hookers on Harry Hines BLVD in Dallas and it has the same validity of Cowterds story. Only difference is he has a mic.

True, then again there is a reason he has a mic, and you don't.

After Tom Brady retires from the Patriots, would he then follow Belichick to Michigan to become the Wolverines QB coach?

Michigan has a month to show if they really care about football. Hire a big time coach with a dump truck of money. Preferably Harbaugh, not because he's the best but because Jim Harbaugh is what fans want.
