I like Claypool too and should be there at #66 but if Hamler is there at #66 we should take him. If we get Hamler, we would have one of the fastest WR cores in the NFL. Hamler as a lot of Djax in him and outright flies and is a good router runner. It would be a major steal at #66. We can bring back the nickname 'The Smurfs" b/c Tmac, Sims, and Hamler are all under 6 feet. Most likely your top 3 on your list are gone.

Whoever the burner is, that can take the top off the defense, and fan hopefully go over the middle is who they should take.

sims is quick twitch and pretty fast, MacLovin is a number one, and Harmon is a good possession wr.

the skins need another deep threat, in my opinion, OR A TOUGH SOB that can go over the middle and run through tackles. A te/wr hybrid.

In a poll of 17 NFL executives by The Athletic's Bob McGinn, scouts were torn on whether Notre Dame's Chase Claypool will be a wide receiver or tight end at the next level.
As McGinn notes, some teams are vehement that Claypool can succeed at wideout in the NFL after starting 33 games at the position in college, but other clubs are viewing the 6'4/238 Claypool as a tight end. Landing spot will be massive for Claypool when it comes to his future success. Many in the draftnik community believe Claypool can absolutely succeed as a wideout after he blazed a 4.42 forty at the Combine. He joined Calvin Johnson as the only player bigger than 6'4/235 to run a sub-4.45 forty in Combine history. Claypool is Rotoworld's Hayden Winks' No. 8 wideout and a fringe first-round talent.

Doesn’t mean he won’t but I tend to peoples Jones or Pittman if the speedster hamler is gone

As far as what to look for - look for whoever would blend best with McLaurin and Haskins, because those 2 should be the foundation of our offensive skill positions for the next 10 years.

Still, I think we need an OT and a TE more than a WR - even though we do need a WR. But it might make more sense to add a veteran WR than draft one - since our WR's are so inexperienced.

I agree but it also depends who is on the board at the time. For example what if Hamler slips and the Auburn OT is the best OT on the board. Who do you take? I take Hamler.

I do it in tiers, for the most part. If players are in the same tier, take the one who fits your needs best, but if a player is in a higher tier - pick him even if he doesn't fill the need you're looking for.

Hamler is in the 4.3 range but small, less than 5'9" and less than 180 lbs. He claims a 4.27 at PSU in 2019.

same stats as Sims and you saw what an impact Sims had last year. Hamler is more polished. If he is there at #66 I think we should take him.

Im just sharing from what I heard from media sources. Those are my personal rankings. Mims is the fastest rising WR in the draft.
