Would you keep both Trout and Altuve?

Healy may not be very good yet, but you cant find an everyday 3b with 20-25 home run power for $5.

My team is pretty bare, but I traded Bundy, Smyly, Polanco, Lindor, McCullers.

3 or 4 guys I would probably keep this year, but I was making a run at some money.

How did trading those guys away from the rest of this dumpster fire make you better?

Are there guys you weren't allowed to keep off your roster that we aren't seeing?

not sure, but Joulys Chain went for $16 last year.

I'm now tempted to just take the risk with Gray. But you can also probably get him a bit cheaper, but if Chacin went for 16....probably not that much cheaper.

IMO, he has the money to get ONE more big pitcher, but if he keeps 24 in Gray, then Gray would have to be that big pitcher... Throw him back, hope you can get him for cheaper, if you cant, then pay 30+ for a better arm...

Yeah, that's why I said tempted.

It could end up being a bargain.

Not sure Castellanos is the real deal.

It didn't, I pretty much stayed in the same position. Problem was, I needed outfielders due to injuries, so I had to trade for Calhoun, Melky, etc.

I had Ortiz for $20 last year, but the dickhead has to retire this year.
Also Lawrie for $17, but I'm not keeping him this year

I notice you don't have a SS....what are the position requirements?

At the end of the season, it was Erick Aybar. SS was a hole all season

Perez has shown nothing the last 2 years to say he's worth keeping.

Graveman isn't sexy, but he plays, and he can be decent enough, especially if Oakland is serious about improving it's infield defense.

And he's cheap.

Don't think he is either, but I don't think 3B is very deep... and the good ones are very expensive...

Healy should be 3B eligible no?

He is... my point was more that if you throw back castellanos,(and seeing how there are many crazy priced players in this league), I can see castellanos being a value pick...

I'd have to check out his batted ball data, but this was basically a BABIP spike for Castellanos.

Not buying too much into it.

I think I go Graveman still. Cheap, consistently averageish innings.

Funny, Graveman and Perez pretty much have identical numbers... And same age
