in a league this deep, you need all the everyday players you can get... and then draft BPA... don't even draft to fill holes, holes are just inevitable...

I would keep 9 players no matter what(unless that hurts your draft status)...

for me in order:

1. Altuve- how can you pass on the 2nd best player in the AL league
2. J.A Happ- unfortunately he is your best starting pitcher
3. Jose Iglesias- might not be much of a player but he has a full time job, Plays SS, and is only 1 dollar
4. Joey Gallo- Big HR potential is needed for success
5. Ryon Healy- might be your second safest bat
6. Clint Frazier- this is not a this season move, but in a league this deep, you need to take potential studs
7. Daniel Menghden- at 24 he is your youngest and most potential SP... definitely a position of weakness
8. Tyler skaggs- 26 years old, but he might be your safest pitcher
9. Matt Chapman- full time player...

Iglesias was a question mark for me. I was considering keeping him since he is only $1. He sucks, but will get at bats.

There is no draft order, it's an auction.

Need to get some better pitching this year. Last year, injuries killed me.

auction is even better... its ok to keep weak pitchers as long as you go heavy on the BPA pitchers during the auction... leagues this deep are not won by talent but by depth... if you can get more games started by pitcher than your opponent you will likely beat him...

i usually wait for pitchers towards the end because they are so expensive in my league.

went against my usual philosophy and overpaid for saves for last year with Chapman and Robertson, which backfired on me

do you do holds too?? I hope you do, it would be a shame to be in a league so deep that only cares about saves...
